the bright morning raise, seeped through Louisa's curtains, leaving strips of light on the two cuddled bodies.
Louisa still felt David's arms wrapped loosely against her torso, the feeling made butterflies go chaos in her stomach. David was still fast asleep by the looks of it, and his messy ginger hair covered his angelic face beautifully. even when he was asleep he looked mouth drooling.
Louisa shifted herself over so she faced David, and she kept smiling sheepishly at how lucky she was to be beside him. she was one lucky girl she thought.Louisa lightly placed her fingertips on David's cheek, tracing little hearts and lighting bolts like he was a blank canvas for her to draw on. giddiness seeped through her like a toddler on Christmas day.
David's eyes slowly fluttered open at the touch of Louisa caressing him and his heart leaped with how adorable she was next to him. her touch caused goosebumps over his skin.
"hi" Louisa smiled innocently at David, who looked at her intently with pure comfort. "hi" David repeated, matching Louisa's shy tone, which made her giggle lightly.
David grabbed onto Louisa's thigh and pulled her closer towards his body, she rested her head on his chest and exhaled with satisfaction as David's love language was obviously touch. which she adored."i was wondering Louisa, what you up to today?" David spoke with his husky morning voice, breaking the silence between them.
Louisa mentally imagined her calendar, and nothing sparked for her to do that day. "nothing probably, i'm not in work today so i have the day to myself."
David smiled approvingly, "i have an interview with Russel Harty at two. but it's over satellite so you can come in and sit with me during it. he wouldn't know your there as it's practically over a phone call so you won't be suspected of anything. and i was thinking afterwards we could go out for dinner?only if you want to of course."
Louisa immediately shot her head up to eye the sleeping David excitedly, like a toddler who just got told they where going to Disneyland. of course she would love to go, she was always intrigued at all of David's interviews anyway so seeing it live would be a dream come true. and dinner with Bowie she couldn't deny it but her stomach was literally doing fun flips.
"of course i would bloody want to David. yes, yes, yes!" David chuckled at Louisa's chaotic response. it was incredibly cute, he wished Angie would of acted like this when ever he asked her out on little days out.
"great it's settled then!"

David was halfway through the interview and by the looks of it he was about to lash out by how agitated he was by Russell's intentionally awful questions.
Louisa could sense the tension from David, but Louisa gave him reassuring smiles when questions got offensive, which calmed David down massively. David practically shot bullets into Russell's eyes, with how stern his face was.
Louisa admired how well David answered every difficult question, he answered them intelligently and obviously too tricky for Russel to understand, clearly.
at this point David wasn't even paying attention to the old git, he was just smoking his cigarette wishing he was anywhere but there on the hot seat of verbal torture. The great David Bowie's genius was so evident. he had class, restraint, and manners that belied his years. to say nothing of his insight and understanding of interpersonal dynamics Russel Harty annoyed David with his painful questions and woeful attempts to be playful and humorous. this awkward affair of an interview was made more difficult by the time delay of the satellite link and not forgetting this is at height of David's cocaine addiction, so David clearly was uncomfortable, looking bemused, baffled and at times bewildered. and Louisa could do nothing to save him from this hellish situation, all she could do was watch intensely on the couch beside the studio.
Russel brought rough topics ahead in the conversations, he brought up rumours about him and Angie, David's fatherhood to his child, also making numerous sniggering jokes about Ziggy and lastly David's mother....
"you know since you have been away David, the newspapers have been having bit of a bash about your mother." Russel snidely spoke, leaving David silent in pure anger. if david was private about anything it was his mother, he was highly protective over her and he once got a news writer sued due him including his mother in his reports about him.
The look on David's face said it all to Louisa, how the fuck did Russel have a career, the question was so personal and in-fact irrelevant to any sort of conversation connection they where having.
due to David's none response, Russell smiled annoyingly, "and saying she is a bit tearful from time to time and she is suffering from a certain time of anguish about the fact she doesn't hear from you an awful lot. is that eyewash or is it real?"
Louisa nearly lashed out of her seat to slaughter the cheeky git, but from judging David, he had it all under control. he always did. he remained calm none of the less.
"that's really my own business" David sternly spoke, eyeing the interviewer over the screen. Louisa was astounded with the rudeness, the interviewer seemed to have no verbal filter and it sickened her.
"and that's how it's gonna stay is it?""yes."
it was as if they where weighing each other down, or playing a staring contest. David was radiating hatred towards the man and Russel grinned at how he bothered David so much. it was a painful sight.
"i see you still have a keen sense of rumour Russel" David chuckled sarcastically, he didn't let Russels harsh questioning get to him. and it slowly agitated the interviewer greatly as the questioning continued. Russel wanted to embarrass David but he failed horribly. David gave no entertainment to the rude git.
-
"i can't fucking believe that" Louisa struggled to keep up with David who was practically storming down every street they turned down. Louisa had to physically run to keep up with him.
ever since David left the studio, he has called Russel every curse word under the sun. Louisa didn't really know what to say, she didn't want to make things worse by saying the wrong thing. so she just let him rant while she tried to keep up behind.
"i-it's like he was trying to take the piss out of me you know? and the bloody bastard had the audacity to bring up my mother let alone bash about me being a shit dad to my fucking five year old son. i'm gonna kill him." David's volume increased massively, luckily no one was around as that would of been a sticky situation for both of them.
"you didn't let him take the piss out of you though David, i thought you answered every question intelligently." Louisa weekly smiled, she felt like she was walking on egg shells with what to say. an angry David isn't someone you really want to mess with.David brought his power walking to a halt and looked at Louisa blankly, but not on purpose. he appreciated what she was saying, but he wasn't in the mood for sweet sympathy he just wanted to deal with it by himself, in his own head.
veins where literally bulging out of his temples, he needed an escape to this mental shit. the only solution to this was to indulge in a large amount of cocaine. the white powder seemed the only thing he craved at that moment, more so than Louisa's comfort affirmations. which he knew was a cruel thought to have. but he couldn't contain himself, it's been a few days since he had some. he wanted to avoid it at all costs, since staying with Louisa but his old patterns haunted him like a ghost of temptation. his will power abolished out of sight, when he needed it the most.
"listen Louisa, i can't come out for dinner tonight. i'm gonna meet up with my manager to discuss this bloody shitshow of an interview. i'm gonna make sure they don't air it... you do understand don't you?"
Louisa felt like her heart got stabbed a million times, of course it was understandable on his part, but she couldn't help but feel a large sense of disappointment. she hasn't seen David act so radically before, she felt very intimidated and didn't dare to level up with him.
Louisa brushed off her mental emotions, "o-of course, do what you need to do. i understand"
Louisa looked towards the ground, she felt weirdly like a burden to him.David sensed she was upset, he did feel a large feel of guilt but if he stayed with her for long he would become very unlikeable in seconds. he needed to deal with his overwhelming anger in private, he didn't want Louisa seeing this side to him. the drug, argumentative, reckless side of him. whereas Angie experienced that side to him every single day, and she joined in with him. it was a danger hole, especially for there 5 year old son.
"i promise i'll take you out later this week love. i'm sorry for putting you through this crap." David cupped her face with his land, so her eyes where facing his. "see you later okay? i won't be long" David smiled weekly down at Louisa, in the back of Louisa's mind she felt like he wasn't going to pay a visit to his manger, but get completely fuck faced. but she felt as though it was her anxiety talking, so she didn't entertain that flutter of fear. "see you later David."
or will that 'see you later' turn into 'see you tomorrow?'
