Sorry this Chapter is short!

The rest of the day week went smoothly. Well mostly smoothly. Besides a few arguments with there Greek teacher who kept insisting Hercules was a good guy. It went something like this.

Percy and Annabeth entered greek class and took there seats. Mr. Dane as soon as attendance was taken said "today we will be learning about some noteworthy greek myths" It took everything Percy had not to snort at the word myths. He and Annabeth were living proof the greek myths were not myths. Annabeth rolled her eyes watching Percy try to keep it together. "today we will start with the greatest greek hero of all time" Annabeth and Percy both rolled there eyes "Hercules" Percy groaned and Annabeth scrunched her nose in disgust. Mr. Dane tapped his foot impatiently "do you have anything to say Mr. Jackson?"

Percy shook his head "nothing nice that is"

Mr. Dane raised an eyebrow and Annabeth smirked, this class period was going to be interesting. "well since you clearly do have something to say Percy why don't you say it"

Percy sighed "Hercules was a jerk"

Annabeth muttered "just like his father" thunder rumbled in the background.

Mr. Dane caught Annabeth muttering "what did you say Miss Chase?"

Annabeth said innocently "Hercules was a jerk just like his father" Percy started cracking up causing thunder to rumble again. The few people that heard it looked around curiously.

Percy said through laughs "Drama King"

Mr. Dane was looking at them in shock "you realize there are people who actually believe in these myths this is highly offensive."

Percy straightened as Annabeth said "we don't mean to offend anyone but we are saying our opinions on these gods and heroes" Percy smirked, how could they offend anyone if they were the only people in the class who knew the truth. If anything the class offended them.

Mr. Dane shook his head "please be respectful, today your assignment is to write a paragraph on the great feats of Hercules."

 "Heracles" Annabeth muttered.

"something else to say Miss Chase?" Mr. Dane asked handing out the assignment.

Annabeth nodded "Yes, Hercules is roman"

Mr. Dane clicked his tongue "I believe you are incorrect Miss Chase"

Percy shook his head at the so called "greek teacher" "Actually Heracles is the greek version of Hercules"

Mr. Dane rubbed his head "please just do the assignment". Percy and Annabeth nodded. By that point there friends were very confused. Percy and Annabeth seemed to have opinions on a personal level. Also no one knew Percy was this educated on mythology. A smirk appeared on Annabeth's face and a trouble maker grin on Percys. They did the exact opposite of the assignment. They wrote about how all Hercules's feats were wrong, fake, or undeserving of attention. 10 minutes before the end of the class period ended they turned in the assignment. when they sat back down Mr. Dane started reading their papers.

He sighed loudly "Percy, Annabeth, i'm sorry but this is unacceptable" Annabeth was getting angry her and Percy knew more about these myths then some mortal teacher.

Annabeth cleared her throat "well your assignment was biased and impossible to do truthfully" Percy nodded along.

Mr. Dane shook his head "I think I know myths better than some high school students Miss Chase" This made Percy angry. No one talked down to Annabeth.

He interrupted "and what makes you think your myths are correct? There are different versions of all myths"

Mr. Dane folded his hands together "I understand that but what we learn in this class in a bases that most myths share"

Annabeth crossed her arms "not the ones we believe in"

Mr. Dane clicked his tongue "I specifically remember the first day you saying you weren't religiously greek"

Percy butted in "actually she said we weren't exactly religiously greek"

Annabeth continued "and even if we weren't religiously greek we would still be aloud to have our own opinions" Percy nodded.

Mr. Dane sighed as the bell rang "Percy, Annabeth stay after class" Their friends shot them a sorry and confused glance.

When everyone exited Annabeth asked Mr. Dane "why do you have a problem with our papers?"

Mr. Dane crossed his arms "because you didn't do the assignment"

Percy snapped his fingers together. Some mist manipulation. Annabeth slapped the back of his head but was grateful he did it.

The next second Mr. Dane said "excellent papers you two, you are excused"

The couple walked out and went to their next class.
