The mortals hadn't mentioned Percys nightmare since the sleepover. They had talked about it the day after but decided to respect his privacy unless something strange happened. Percy and Annabeth were sitting on the bleachers for P.E. along with the rest of their class.

Max and Alissa were in a conversation about the best Thai food in the city, while Cas and Jack were in a heated game of rock paper scissors. Cole was talking with Percy about their first swim meet in a few weeks.

"Nah man" Cole said "Bate High is gonna lose"

Percy laughed "I hope so"

Cole nudged him "don't be modest dude"

Annabeth laughed "i've been telling him that for years" Percy turned a bit red but still nodded. Cole laughed as Coach entered the room with a rack of wood swords. Percy looked at Annabeth already excited.

"Listen up" Coach yelled "today we will be learning sword fighting, with the help of an instructor from long island" Annabeth was starting to realize something. She was going through her mind of who the instructor could be. Coach started saying "please be safe and cautious, I doubt any of you can beat the instructor in a sword fight, so please don't taunt him" Percys lips upturned. He was itching for a challenge. Coach finally stated "please welcome Mr. Pace" Percy and Annabeth both grinned even brighter when Malcom Pace son of Athena walked into the room. Malcom walked in holding a sword that was disguised by the mist as wooden but Percy and Annabeth could clearly see it was his imperial gold sword. He smirked looking through the crowd before his eyes caught on the couple and he winked. Cole who noticed looked on curiously.

"Hey guys" Malcom waved "Im Malcom no need for the Mr. Pace nonsense since i'm not much older than you guys" A few people looked at him confused. He definitely wasn't much older then them, so what made him qualified to teach. Malcom turned to Coach "as thrilled as I am to be here, I definitely am not the best"

Coach snorted "still better then any of these kids"

Malcom chuckled then looked straight at Percy and Annabeth "I think there are probably at least two that can beat me." By then everyone was looking on intrigued. Malcom finally said "does anyone here have any sword fighting experience?" Percy, Annabeth, Lila, and surprisingly Cas's hands shot up. Lila was clearly just trying to show off or flirt with Malcom.

Percy sent a questioning look to Cas who shrugged "I fenced for a few years" Cas then sent the same look to Percy and Annabeth.

Annabeth responded "we train at camp" Alissa muttered something about them mentioning their mysterious camp again.

Malcom was beaming "all four of you come up here" Percy and Annabeth walked hand in hand to Malcom who rolled his eyes at his sister and future brother-in-law. Cas walked up behind them along with Lila. Malcom said "Kelp for brains fight her" he pointed to Cas "and Annie" Annabeth scowled and Malcom smiled "I can tell you dying to beat wanna be Drew in a sword fight" Annabeth's scowl turned into a smirk. Everyone was confused. Why was Malcom talking to Percy and Annabeth like that? Even Coach looked startled. Although things were starting to make sense. The director at the camp he called said the two best sword fighters were busy and he could send someone who would still be great. Coach then shook his head. Percy and Annabeth were kids, it couldn't have been them. Could it?

Malcom had set up Percy and Annabeth, who were using their own concealed weapons thanks to the mist, up on two mats with their respective opponents.

He then yelled "begin" Percy easily side step Cas and grabbed her sword from her hand pointing both at her. She gasped not sure how that happened.

"Yeild." she said and started walking back towards the bleachers. Annabeth easily kicked Lila's feet out from under her and disarmed her.

Lila sputtered "but-but--"
