Ch. 2

Second Chance

[Sonic POV]

I'm in Heaven, sitting on clouds... I have a yellow halo and golden wings.. I was a hero so I was given golden wings... I'm looking down on Earth, watching over my friends.. But Shadow is still crying.. He even skipped Dinner! And I found out that he loves me while I was watching over him.

"Seems like you've taken quite a fall, Sonic"

I look over to see God, I quickly stand up and bowed down.

God: "Please, no need to bow"

I stopped bowing and looked up at him.

Sonic: "Is there anything you need? "

God: "No not really but I have thought of giving you a second chance"

Sonic: "Really?! A-are you sure, God? "

God: "I am. Though, I cannot reincarnate you or bring you back to life because it will interfere with the rules of life"

Sonic: "Oh... I understand"

God: "Though, I do however want you as Shadow's Guardian Angel that can talk to him in dreams"

Sonic: "Dreams..?"

God: "Yes, but, you cannot tell him that you are Sonic, just watch over him and if he ever gets in a bad situation, you may come down to Earth, save him and show him who you truly are. "

Sonic: "I will, God.. Thank you, so so much"

God: "It's not a problem, seems like Shadow will go to sleep. I will send you now"

Sonic: "Alright"

I get teleported in Shadow's dream... He is in a bed sitting.. I'm pretty sure he saw the flash of light because he looked at my direction (you can imagine any type of bedroom but make sure you imagine a lot of light but not that much of light)

Shadow: "Who are you?! "

I looked at a mirror and see that my face is covered in light.

Sonic: "Don't you worry, Shadow, I mean not harm" I said politely

Sonic: "I gotta think of a fake name" I thought

Shadow: "How the hell do you know my name..? "

I also noticed that I don't have my wings so I spread them out showing my golden yellow wings.

Sonic: "Simple, by watching over you in Heaven"

I can tell he was shocked because his eyes say it all...

Shadow: "Ok... But.. Still, who are you..? "

Sonic: "Call me X" wow, where did that come from?

Shadow: "Alright then... X, what are you doing here.. In my dream..? It feels so real"
