[Narrators POV]
The others went back to the tree after their fight to grab their bags.
X: "And. . . That's how it happened! "
Silver: "So... It was something that Eggman made to lure you in his old lair?"
X: "Mhmm.... I don't really know how he knows that I'm naturally curious"
Shadow: "He must have been spying on us... Damn that b!tch... "
X: "Now, now, calm down Shadow~" X/Sonic says calmly with a smile
Shadow: "Tch.. "
Everyone: "How? ” they all thought
Cosmo: “But... Those files you're holding... What is in there? ”
X: “It's about a hedgehog named Kris, seems like she was a project... Let me read it”
The others went back to the huge tree without noticing that it already stopped raining.
They all sat down to take a break and X reads the yellow file
X: “It says.... ‘After NEARLY defeating that stupid blue blur, I came across this cave with a tube on it and saw a creature.... Is it a cat...? No... A dog? It's a... Hedgehog... I put the tube in my Eggmobile and went back to my lair, I checked on the hedgehog and it was.... Half dead!? That's... Extremely rare! Which means this hedgehog can live up to 150 years!! I think it's time to plan a monstrosity... ’ ”
Tails: “Is that it? ”
X: “No... The other files are all torned and this file I just read was on great condition”
Shadow: “Well.... We better go, we don't wanna waste a minute and need to find the Keeper of Knowledge”
Knuckles: “Shadow is right... Let's go”
Silver: “Let's just walk... For now because we are still tired from that fight”
Mephiles: “Whatever you say, I guess”
In a far distance....
Kris: “Hmm.... I wonder if they can help me find Eggman and destroy him... ”
[Time Skip: 1 Hour Later]
Tails: “Come on! We're getting close to the Keeper Of Knowledge! ”
Knuckles: “Alright! Faster everyone! ”
Kris is in a safe distance within them
Kris: “The Keeper of Knowledge? ” she thought
Cosmo: “Did we reach it?! ”
Tails: “Yes... YES! ”
They all stop just to see a hugeeeeeee drop
Tails: “It's.... Down there... ”
Shadow: “How are we.... Oh wait”
Shadow pulls up his Chaos Emerald and shocks everyone (you'll know in the next line why)
Mephiles: “You. Had. That. ALL. ALONG?! WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY SO?! ”
Shadow: “Mephiles, you literally own a Chaos Emerald, you do know we can only teleport to places we've already been to AND see? ”
Mephiles: “Oh... Right, sorry”
Shadow: “It's fine... Let's teleport”
Knuckles: “All I see are clouds”
Shadow: “Meh... ”
You know what he says and teleports all of them down to see trees but... THEY'RE FALLING?!
Tails: “AHHHHH!! ”
Knuckles: “I do NOT know how to fly! ”
Silver, X, Rouge: “This is nothing/This is alright/I'm used to this”
Shadow teleports again while they see that they are closer at the top of the trees and teleports again and fall down to the ground.
Shadow landed on his feet, so did Knuckles, Rouge, X, and Mephiles but Tails fell flat on the face and Cosmo.... Fell on her butt
Rouge: “Let's go”
Tails: “Ok... ” Tails stand up and started walking with the others.
Kris landed close by and follows them quietly.
X: “The same hedgehog is following us.... We better be cautious just in case. They are dangerous” (referring to Kris) he thought.
Shadow: “It's that Kris hedgehog.... I don't know what she's capable of so I gotta be careful... ”
Kris: “That hedgehog and... Blue angel hedgehog??? Knows what I'm doing.... They easily noticed me.... I know who they are and I'm impressed by their skills of noticing me so easily. I wonder how strong they would be when I fight them 2v1? ” she thought.
Shadow: “The hell she following us for? Was she sent by Eggman? ”
Tails: “Found it! ”
Knuckles: “Alright, step aside, let me dig”
Tails steps aside from where he was standing and let Knuckles dig down.
Knuckles: “You know, it would be faster if you guys helped”
X: “Well, alright”
The others started digging around the hole Knuckles already digged through and worked together.
[Time skip: 15 minutes later]
The group formed a big hole that they found, that has a big drop underneath.
Cosmo: “So... Who's going to jump down? ”
X: “I'll take this”
X swiftly grabbed a flashlight and handed it to shadow then jumps down with... A round magic light on his hand.
Silver: “I am so jealous that he has angel powers”
Rouge: “We can't stop the fact that he can create light though” and Rouge jumps in too.
The others follow up with Kris being last.
Kris: “Why are they doing all this? Oh well, let's jump down.... Quietly”
Kris jumps down and follows the others.
