'Heavenly Food and Insecurities'
The sun was just awaking from its hushed slumber when Aiya blearily opened her eyes, black dots dancing around her sluggish vision. She let out a quiet breathe, laying stagnantly on her snug floral sheets as the thoughts of today lingered inside her head. She thought of meeting her friends at school, feeling the shielded sun from her classroom on the top floor and enjoying the morning breeze as she strolled along her small neighborhood. Aiya finally let a content smile show on her face.
Today would be a good day, she decided.
A few long minutes later, she had just gotten out of the shower in her purple laden uniform—which admittedly was quite a laborious thing to put on. It had many layers including a quiet, lavender button-down, a cotton vest and Shiratorizawa's signature white blazer, topped with a not-forgotten purple bow to complete the look. A lot of the times, Aiya would covertly take her blazer off or ditch the vest around campus because it was just too hot to wear.
Stilly, the residual heat blew plumes of steam outside the drained bathtub, an efflorescent tang spritzing the air as waves of her delicate body fragrance ran the entirety of her bedroom. The limpid fog trailed behind her when she looked around for her phone, eyeing the familiar mess her room was in. Spotting the embellished case of the device, she made her way onto her bedside and was pleasantly greeted by a notification banner shining brightly as its message delivered a smile on Aiya's face. When she opened it, it read:
Ushi 🐻 Good morning Aiya. :) 7:01am
Seeing his message was enough to make Aiya's day already, even if it hasn't even happened yet. By now it became an ordinary for Wakatoshi to text her early at some point of dawn—around the time he would be out for his morning jog. It was questionable a bit to Aiya, how he had the energy to run daybreak then get ready and attend school right after. But Ushijima was a man of routine and discipline, so it was not unusual that he would be trying to balance his health and school life this way; idleness was not a word in his vocabulary.
Swiftly, she pressed the cool pads of her fingers onto the screen and typed a blithe response, finding a reply being sent only minutes after hers was.
