Standing in this vast marsh, I have to keep asking myself...How in the hell did I get hear?! I distinctively remember that I was on my way home from my stupid job, on some run-down hunk of metal we call a train! I mean seriously, this thing only goes like fifty kilometers an hour! My own grandmother could drive faster than this... AND she has never driven before!

Knocking myself out of my own little 'nag' fest, I hear rustling from the trees that were densely populating the supposed deserted forest. I turn my head quickly to the source of the sound and in the process, almost give myself whiplash. My poor little neck! Recovering from my 'severe' injury I quickly compose myself and stare into the forest's abyss.

To my complete horror, there is another figure standing less than fourty feet from where I'm standing. From where I'm standing, 'It'-I don't know what the hell it is- appears to be hunched over. This is all I can see of the figure due to the only source of light being the moonlight, which to my dislike is shrowded by clouds and the surrounding fog.

After what feels like forever, the figure steps out from behind the huddling of trees. The clouds seem to become less dense and I can now 'kind off' see the figure standing before me. She- Yay, I have uncovered the demonic 'It'!- appears to be wearing a deep red woolen sweater, which is covering, what appears to be, several silk undershirts that have billowed out from under the fabric. She has a small faded blue skirt on, but is quite large on her, due to her small height of only about four feet. Little brown leather boots cover her almost 'baby' feets and a large multi-coloured fuzzy hat is placed on the crown of her head, with a tiny little green ball at the top. She basically looks like a wrinkly, rainbow marshmellow!

Her deep sea-blue eyes stare at me for a moment after I'm done taking in her creepily-adorable appearance. She takes in a deep, stressed breath which tells me she has difficulty breathing or perhaps is or was a heavy smoker. Smoking is bad, stay away from those cancer sticks!

"Hello child-" she says in a quiet voice before coughing heavily in a wheezy tone.

"H-hello there. Umm... how are things?" I ask somewhat awkwardly, ensure of what to say in front of this mysterious figure. Then I remember stupidly that I'm in a place I have no recollection of entering. I'm so stupid sometimes... All the time, actually! "H-how did I end up here? I ask stuttering slightly as I shiver from the sudden gust of freezing wind.

"Oh, I'm just doing fine, young one. Just a little stiff from these old bones of mine. I sadly haven't aged well at all, haha-" She laughs at her own downfall, which makes me feel sorry for this woman. Another round of coughs leaves me questioning the health of this poor women. "But don't feel sorry for me, I have lived quite a happy existence and I'll happily leave this world, when the time comes" I'm left feeling like I'm drowning in an emotional pool of sadness which ripples through my body at the old ladies confession. I have no idea how her life has been, but I hope to find a comforting existence just like she supposedly has already found. While she has told me this, I have completely forgotten that I have asked her my second question. Stupid male brain being unable to mutlitask!

"Don't worry, I have a feeling that you have plenty of time left. Nothing can keep you down. You seem like a strong woman who can do anything!" I attempt to comfort her, but it does nothing to change her opinion and only furthers my own sadness.

"Thank you child, but when you become my age, you'll just know when your time is going to come to its end. Too bad that you won't get to experience that feeling, sadly." She says the last bit of her sentence mostly to herself, but in the silence of the forest, she might as well have screamed it.

"What do you mean I won't be able to have that 'feeling'? I ask almost shouting. She is really confusing me and as this goes on longer I'm probably going to be left with more questions than answers.

"I cannot tell you that child. I am truly sorry that I am not able to help you at this moment. Just try to change your life and don't succumb to 'them'!" She informs me, almost desperately. I'm left in an even bigger puddle of confusion as to what the heck is going on. Just as I was about to question what she meant, she begins to charge at me. I am more shocked by her ability to run, with her bones constantly cracking as she moves forward.

When she is around five feet away from me, I try to move back as I become aware of her approach. I only end up stumbling and backing myself up into a tree. Anxiety sweeps through my body as I am left wondering what the lady is trying to do. I'm young, I don't want to die!

"Deri kamur emba dera ko savo demora!" She suddenly chants in some weird language that I am unaware of. I'm sorry but I was never good at learning any languages! When she is done, she suddenly lunges forward and grabs hold of my face in her tiny palms. She screams violently and suddenly disappears with a ear-wringing boom. I quickly recall her face streaming with tears just before she disappears,

Suddenly, everything around me begins to shake and I'm powerfully shook about. I try to move away from the area, but my feet feel like ther stuck to the marsh floor. Everything suddenly goes black and I'm hear voices telling me to wake up! What the hell is it talking about, I'm not asleep...right?

My eyes shot open to a sharp, burning sensation being roughly placed on my face. I quickly blink to assess my surroundings. It appears that the music on my phone had shut off and that the guy that was asleep, was towering above me. "Umm..." I say stupidly, unsure of what to say.

"You were having a nightmare, I think and I tried to get you to wake up. Slapping you seemed to be the only way. And I also wanted to tell you that the train has stopped due to one of the passengers...dying."

Dying. What did he mean by that? the only people who were on the train were him, his 'girlfriend'? I'm not sure, and that old lady who was leaning against the W- "Oh my god, what the hell happened?!" I was horrified by the scene in front of me. The old lady was lying dead against the window with a deep wound across her neck with blood leaking down her throat, as the white frilly scarf that I presumed that was given to her by the man's 'girlfriend' became too saturated in the bloody liquid. She stood over the old lady with a look of pure horror written on her face.

"She seems to have been murdered by some person, but I don't see how that could be possible considering that we were the only ones on the train and we were all sleeping" The man confessed, seemingly just as confused as I was. I looked closely at the woman who had been murdered and wondered what sick person could do this to some poor old soul. Then realisation dawned on me who this person actually was. This was the woman who appeared to me in my dream, only paler. I wondered how she has appeared in my dream if I had never met her before today? maybe its just a coincidence.

"What's that over there?" the mans asks, taking me away from my confusion about the old lady. I turn around to look at whatever he appears to be staring at. A dark silhouette appears out from behind the door that seperates the cabins. I try to approach the figure, but he- I think it's a he- takes off before I can. I try to run out through the exit he took, but when I step out into the cold, late night air, I see no sign of the suspicious character.

Was he responsible for murdering the old lady? I guess I'll just have to wait until they can figure out what exactly happened to cause this late night murder. Hmm... I'm about three miles from home, I wonder what time I'll be able to get back? If I am able to leave tonight. Why do all bad things have to happen to me?

And that my pplz is the third chappy of my first story. I really hope you liked it, and i'm glad I was able to write a bit more than the other two. Plz remember to comment AND vote pweez! Au Revoir BIYACHES ;)
