Feeling nervous and worried at the same time,I ring the doorbell of Jasmine's house. There was no response for a few minutes, so I pressed the bell again. Some more minutes passed as I got more worried...I was about to knock again when the door opened...It was Jasmine's mother. I wished her good morning. She looked quite surprised to see me at her doorstep, so early in the morning.

After looking at me for a few seconds, she smiled and stepped aside to let me in. I slowly walked to the couch and took a seat. As she came after me, I asked her if I am here to visit jasmine.

Hearing that, the smile on her face was gone. She looked sad. I nervously asked, "Is she alright?"

She moved her head as NO.

I looked up at her with a horrified expression, as the dream of this morning flashed through my mind...But I composed myself back, quickly.

She slowly took a seat on the other couch, and I offered her a glass of water. She gave me a small smile and drank the water.

As she felt better, she started -

" Yesterday she went to attend your concert since u provided her with the tickets. She was a little upset as she couldn't contact you. But she went there anyway, hoping to see you again. One of her friends was supposed to pick her after the concert, but she insisted on walking all the way back home. It was nothing strange as she always prefers walking rather than using other transport. But...after around 3 hours after the concert, I got a call from her phone...It wasn't her. It was a man, who found her unconscious on the road and the phone was in her hands so n managed to call the number saved as HOME.

Listening to this, I quickly went to her while the man was taking care of her. She has to be hospitalized as has a very high fever. She laid unconscious till midnight, but I am glad it's nothing serious and an will be released in 2 days." She took a deep breath as she finished.

I felt ashamed of myself, to hear about her. It's my fault. I should have taken care of her, and should have spoken with her earlier.

" but...wot made her faint in the middle of a street all of a sudden? Was she not eating properly?" I asked with concern.

Her mother hesitated a bit before speaking again.

" I guess you deserve to know it, as I seem to care about her a lot...She lost her memory a few months ago when we used to live in the USA. She used to live alone in her own apartment as we were busy traveling for business purposes.

I guess living all alone made her mentally unstable and true to commit suicide by jumping off her office building. Luckily, she was saved with several operations and around six months in hospital. But she lost her memory, her brain was severely damaged. After she got very and was ready to live a normal life, we decided to move her, as she always dreamt of living in Seoul...We decided this city to be the destination to start her new life. However, we never wished to hug her a life with half-memories. She can't even believe that we are her parents. We dearly wish her memories to come back...But at the am time, the doctor has warned us that if she gets on touch with anything related to being past life...she might get back her memories or it could also worsen her brain's condition...Keeping this in mind, we never told her about her past life, but left her with all her possession which is the memories of her past life.Since an was fashion designer, she had many sketchbooks, journals, etc. She was also fond of room decors. We kept all these things with her, hoping that she will remember us and the times she spent with us...one day.

She used to write a diary, which I found in her room, but never read it. That's the only thing I hid from her, as it has all the bad memories and sufferings she went through, in the past.

Now, yesterday's sudden unconsciousness was caused by a sudden surge of ache in her brain. As the doctor says, recent events might have triggered her past life memories ...somehow...She has to take care of herself".
