The next morning at 6:00 A.M. Arylean got up, dressed, and ate breakfast. Then Mathew and Mike thundered down the stairs, ready to attack. When Arylean saw them, she said, "Good morning, did y'all sleep well?" they sighed.
Then Mathew yelled, "What are you doing up? Do you know what time it is?"
"Um... 6:10." Said Arylean as she cleaned up her breakfast.
"This early!" Yelled Mathew, who turned to the stairs to see Copper coming down. "Hi, Copper."
"I always get up at this time. What's the big deal?" Said Arylean, moving boxes to unpack.
"We forgot you're a morning person, that's it!" said Mike, talking to himself. Then he said to everyone. "Well, we might as well get started since we're all awake." He walked over to the cabinet and got the cereal. "But first breakfast."
Arylean was listening to music by this time and setting up the kitchen. Then Copper asked her, "Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" she didn't respond. Copper started to get mad.
Seeing this, Mike interrupted, "She had breakfast. Also, Copper she has earbuds in."
"Oh." Said Copper, calming down. "After we're done eating, what part of the house are we setting up?"
"Which part do you think." said Mike, pointing to Arylean.
"She working on it, isn't she?" Said Copper, eating. "What if she finishes before we start?"
"Then we make her slow down and do the next room by ourselves." Said Mathew as they finished eating. They finished, and Mathew tapped Arylean's shoulder and then ducked as she turned around. "Arylean only one earbud." Said Mathew, and then he got a box and started to work.
"Fine." Said Arylean, with a sigh, then she went back to work. After an hour, they were almost done the kitchen. They were down to the box. Arylean was starting to put it away and said, "Why not you'll start on the dining room?"
"Are you sure that shelf is awfully high and those cups are glass?" Said Copper.
"Yes, I'm sure!" Said Arylean irritated as she put some away. Then one slipped out of her hand and hit the floor it shattered.
"What was that?" Asked Mike when it crashed.
"That was the sound of me being right!" Said Copper in a hushed tone, and then he smiled.
This remark made Arylean crush the two cups in her hands, which didn't hurt her hands because of her gloves and power. She said, "Yes, I know that, Copper." upset.
"I was just joking, Arylean. It doesn't matter who was right. Anyone could have done that." Said Copper. "There's no need to get upset."
"I'm not upset!" Exclaimed Arylean, cleaning up the glass.
"Yes, you are." Said Mathew,. Calmly.
"Oh, just shut up all of you!" She yelled, then she realized what she said, and she ran to her room and locked the door. They put down what they were doing and ran after her.
"Arylean, open the door!" Said Copper, with his ear to the door, he could hear crying through. She didn't respond, and then the air inside her room started to become a storm.
A wind filled with snowflakes blew into Copper's face. This surprised Copper. He turned to Mike, who said. "The gloves and lock keep her powers, along with yours, in check the best they can, but if one you had very strong feelings and if it's the time of growth of your powers then it cannot stop it."
"So her powers are growing right now?" Said Copper, and Mathew and Mike nodded, and then he continued. "Well, what are we going to do?"
"Mathew and I should go get more cups," said Mike. "But that means Arylean, and you will be here by yourself. Are you ok with that?"
