Chapter 13: The Decision

Very early the next morning, while everyone else was a sleep, Cait was pacing. She woke up Charlie by accident with her pacing. "Are you thinking about what Arylean said yesterday?" Asked Charles.

"Yes and the way they care for each other here. I never felt or saw any thing like that, have you?" Asked Cait, hungry for something like what she had saw.

"No, I guess I haven't,but it doesn't matter because we are going to leave." He responded sharply.

"Remember how they went to help each other? Would your parents ever done that for us?" Asked Cait, now having a choice of a completely different style of love. "They might have sent someone, but never came themselves."

"So." Said Charlie. "It's not a big deal."

"You don't care it seems. Well, I am going stay here with them." Said Cait. Then Cait went back to bed, with her mind set. But Charlie couldn't sleep after hearing her decision. Before long he decided to try to get a long here with his siblings.

Later they were let out by Arylean who was making breakfast with Danny. "Good morning!" She said. "Sorry I blew up yesterday, I have an anger problem."

"That's an understatement." Laughed Danny. Cait and Charlie sat down.

Robert came down stairs and said. "Good morning, I have some news that, Arylean I don't think you are going to like."

"What is it Robert, did you forget another cousin?" Said Arylean, picking on him.

"We're having another ball that you have to come to." Said Robert, after he sighed.

"Why another ball?" Complained Arylean, Danny snickered at this.

"To honor Charlie and Kaitlyn being found. You must attend Arylean." Said Robert taking a seat beside Cait. "Also Grandma and Grandpa are coming to dinner."

"Why do you do this to us?" Asked Arylean, who had started to serve breakfast. "Who wants to help me wake everyone?" She grabbed the cowbell.

"No, thanks that didn't work out so good the last time for me." Said Robert, drinking a cup of coffee.

"Good!" Exclaimed Danny, handing him his eggs.

"What happened last time?" Asked a curiosity Charlie.

"I got to wake up everyone and I am not fit to tell the story." Said Arylean, walking away she patted Robert's shoulder. Then she ran up the stairs and rand the cowbell; Katherine screamed again.

Danny ran up the stairs and yelled. "Arylean never do that again!"

"Are you threatening me?" Asked Arylean and started to laugh. "That's hilarious!"

"I mean what I say, Arylean!" Danny Yelled.

"Excuse me!" She replied and hung him from the ceiling by his feet. "Now listen to me! Don't ever threaten me again!" Katherine and Copper had joined them in the hallway.

"Arylean you let him down right now !" Yelled Katherine.

"You stay out of this!" Yelled Arylean back at her. Arylean's finger that was pointed at Katherine had flurries now on it and her ice around Danny began to grow.

"Calm down, Arylean." Said Copper very calmly.

"Calm down!" Yelled Arylean. "I am trying to, but Katherine is yelling at me!"

"I'm yelling, you're yelling!" Yelled Katherine.

"Calm down Katherine and go eat." Said Copper still calm. Arylean had almost completely froze Danny by now.
