After dinner Katherine and Arylean went and changed into dresses. While Katherine had a light blue dress on, Arylean had on a black and red dress. They came down the stairs and Robert said, "Great your early, when you enter tonight, you enter with each other, and your brother." pointing to the balcony.
"Why with our brother?" Asked Katherine.
"Yeah, and do we have to dance?" Asked Arylean.
"You enter with your brother because the ball is to announce your arrival. Copper, Danny, and Sarah will enter front of you." Said Robert, "No you do not have to dance." who turned around to talk to Mike.
"Sir the guests are starting to arrive." Said Mike, who was standing by Mathew.
"Ok I'll get ready." Said Robert, turning back to Arylean and Katherine. " Go to where I told you to." Katherine stopped Arylean before she could yell at Robert and led her to where Robert wanted them to be.
They climbed the stairs and stood beside Chris. "You two are late." Said Chris.
"Arylean don't blow up, just calm down." Said Katherine.
Then Chris, who was leaning on Katherine shoulder said. "Yeah, Arylean don't blow up."
"Chris get off my shoulder and stop or I'll blow up on both of you." At this time from the other side of the door they heard Robert announcing them. Arylean and Chris agreed to stop, but Katherine wasn't done. "You two are awful, you haven't agreed on anything since we got here."
"Um, Katherine.... You want to stop for now." Arylean said, as the doors opened and trumpets sounded.
"Yeah, you might want to save it for later, ok." Said Chris, Arylean tried to get him to stop speaking predicting what was going to say and her reaction, but he wouldn't. Now the doors were almost completely open.
"That's it!" Yelled Katherine, at the moment she did the trumpets finished, but she continued. " Chris I am going to get you." Arylean sighed and shook her head, while Chris dodged Katherine's punch, but not her stomach kick. Chris fell because of it. She realized then that the doors were open.
"Katherine, we are supposed to enter now." Said Arylean, still shaking her head. Katherine turned red and they, then walked on to the balcony waved and walked down the stairs.
They walked up to Copper, Danny, and Sarah and Danny asked Katherine to dance. Chris fallowed by asking Sarah to dance.
"Can I ask you a question, Arylean?" Asked Copper.
"Yeah, sure, but if it's 'Do you want to dance?', then the answer is...." Said Arylean, but before she could finish Copper interrupted.
"No it's not, I know you don't dance and you never will. I want to know what happened at the top of the stairs?" Said Copper.
"Oh that," Said Arylean laughingly. "I tell you later." Robert overheard this part of the conversation and joined in.
He said, "What was going on at the top of the stairs?" thinking about it made him laugh. "I would want to know to."
"I said I'll tell you later." Said Arylean.
"Robert I need to talk to you about the protection plan and the training schedule." Said Mr. Walkins.
"Ah yes, I know, but they have not begun training." Said Robert, by this point Arylean was confused, he continued. "They also don't know about the prophecy."
"What, Robert!" Said Mr. Walkins, in an unhushed tone.
"Shh!" Said Robert, in a quiet tone. "You will make a scene. After the ball I'll meet with you, ok." As Mr. Walkins walked away Robert turned to Arylean and Copper and said. "Will you two with me on the living room after the ball."
"Wait, why?" Asked Arylean, Copper kinda smiled when she said this. "Copper why are you smiling?"
"I'll tell you when you come. Can you tell your brother, sister , Danny, and Sarah to come as well." Said Robert, then started to walk away.
"Ok, fine, but when this ball end?" Asked Arylean to Robert, who was walking away.
"30 minutes and in 35 minutes I want to see you all in the living room got it?" Said Robert.
"Let's go Copper, we got to tell everyone." Said Arylean.
Meanwhile Katherine, Chris, Danny, and Sarah had danced 10 dances and were done. At this moment they saw Copper, and Arylean walking over to them. "Hey what's up!" Said Katherine to them. "Do you know when this ball is over?"
"15 minutes and in 20, we have meeting in the Living Room with Robert." Said Arylean who started to stare off in the distance. "I think it has something with training for our powers and protection for us."
"What, how do you know that? He didn't tell us why." Said Copper, with a doubtful look on his face.
"Well Copper, it's simple deduction really, hearing what he said to Mr. Walkins and put two and two together and you got it." Said Arylean, this shocked everyone except Katherine.
"Wait a minute, you were eavesdropping!" Exclaimed Danny, very surprised. "I always thought you were the good one!"
"It was an accident, ok, I have good hearing and I analyzes everything." Said Arylean, "I'm also pretty sure, that there is a prophecy."
"How do you accidently over hear some else while conversation!" Said Danny, people started to leave the ball. They walked towards the stairs.
"Danny, it's not a big deal." Said Katherine, who was in the middle of the stairs. "It's not like it isn't normal for Arylean."
"But it's still wrong, I mean I wouldn't want her to do it to me." Said Danny, Copper, Sarah, and Chris nodded.
"Oh, give it a rest, Danny, usually I don't tell anyone what I hear." Arylean said, as they walked into the Living Room.
"You all are two minutes early," Said Robert, who had just finished his meeting with Mr. Walkins. "Why can't you ever be late Arylean!" After saying this, he laughed.
The door shut, rolled her eyes, and Arylean said. "Now what is you want to say!" Everyone started to laugh, she sighed.
"I want to tell you, more about your powers, sit down and please do not interrupt me. Said Robert.
"Yeah, like that will ever happen!" Said Katherine.
He glared at her and continued. He told them about how their powers were discovered, how they were hidden, and the prophecy. Then he had out a signed packet and said "Ok you can go to bed, now." Then started to leave and Arylean said, "Why doesn't he ever give us a chance to respond!" to Katherine.
As they walked to the stairs Katherine said, "Probably because he knows your temper."
They climbed the ladder Arylean said, "I guess, good night." then she went to her tower.
"Goodnight!" Said Katherine, as she went to her tower.
