Chapter 9: The Start of Training

The next morning Arylean and Danny started to make breakfast. Then Robert came down and asked. "What are you making?"

"Bacon, eggs, and pancakes." Said Danny, while he put the bacon in the oven. "How do you want your eggs?"

"Sunnyside up please." Said Robert, sitting down on a stool. "You two are up early."

Arylean mixed the pancake batter beside where he was working, she said. "What do you mean I slept in?"

"Good morning!" Said Copper, kissing Arylean.

"Good morning, Copper!" Said Arylean. "How do like your eggs?"

"Good morning." Groaned Katherine, coming down the stairs. "Scrambled and coffee please." Danny handed her a cup and kissed her. "Thank you!"

Katey, and David came down the stairs arguing about training. School training or power training first. "They need to control their powers first." Said David. "If they can't do that then it will affect everything!"

"We took them out of school like a month ago, they need to do their school work or they will get behind!" Said Katey.

"How do you want your eggs?" Danny asked them as they came to the kitchen. "Are Sarah and Chris coming down?"

"I don't know and what about Oliver?" Said Robert, still sitting at the counter as Copper and Katherine started towards the dining room table. Soon the guards came down down the training room and joined Katherine, who was holding her coffee cup and giving a death stare to anyone who dared to look at her, and Copper, who had just finished setting the table. "Have you all made a chore roster yet?"

"No, but we probably should. Robert will you tell him they should do school work first!" Said Katey.

As she was finishing, Danny over lapped her voice. "Excuse me Robert," He took Robert's paper.

"Hey!" Exclaimed Robert.

"Robert! Will you tell him!" Said Katey, in a very impatient way.

"No Robert! Tell her that she is wrong and that they should do power training first!" David told Robert. Robert started to get frazzled.

"Ok the list of chores is made and there are 12 different chores." Said Danny. "That means, including our guards....."

"4 chores per group of 4 people, or a 1:1 ratio of person per chore." Said Arylean, interrupting him. Everyone looked at her. "What?" She finished making breakfast.

"First of all I know that and secondly....." Said Danny who was interrupted by Katherine.

"And secondly it's super annoying!" Yelled Katherine, giving Arylean the death glare, as she sat down next to her.

"Seriously can I not speak? What's wrong with you two!" Yelled Danny.

"Robert!" Yelled Katey and David at the same time because Robert was distracted by the chore roster.

"What!" Yelled Robert, everyone was shocked. "Oh sorry, I just got caught up in all the yelling." They were now all seated at the table. "Now can you all pause for one second, so these two will stop their foolish argument." They all nodded, he continued. "Ok so what are you arguing about now? Something about their training?"

"Yes!" Sighed Katey. "Should they do school work or power training first?"

"Why does that matter?" Asked Robert, completely done with having to solve the twins arguments. "Sometimes you two give me a headache! Just pick one to go first!" Robert then prayed over the food and everyone began to eat. Katey and David immediately began to argue. Robert was stuck in the middle of this. "For crying out loud! Start with power training today and tomorrow start with school work okay?" They nodded afraid to anger him anymore. "Ok please continue with your chore roster."
