I tuck a piece of my thick red hair behind my ear, standing outside of an old worn down castle. Picking up the train of my long sundress, i cautiously walk up the crumbling stairs, that lead to the entrance. I adjust my earbud, the song Killing me softly with his song by Ms. Lauryn Hill playing through my ears. I walk up to the large metal doors, i assume i look like an ant next to it. Surprisingly the doors swing open when i apply just a touch of pressure. As i peer in, i see shining marbled flooring, high ceilings and tall pillars. "What?" i audibly whisper.
I let go of my dress and hold my notebook to my chest, stepping in. It's empty, except for the cold air rushing past my face into the fully furnished, and preserved building. My heeled shoes hit the floor harshly as i walk forwards, admiring my surroundings, it was shockingly beautiful. I hear something behind me, I stop dead in my tracks. Slowly turning around i lock eyes with a tall, thin man. His slicked back-blonde hair and radiating skin makes me stumble backwards, or maybe it's the dead body slung over his broad shoulders. I gasp and drop my notebook, bringing my hands up to my face, hiding my virgin eyes from the cold, lifeless body displayed so in front of me. I take a deep breath slowly pulling my hands away from my face, he's still there, watching me. He frowns and looks to the dead man on his shoulders, his soft eyes widen. He slowly places it on the ground and kicks it behind his legs, i scowl , shaking a bit.

Would i become that body? Why is he staring at me like that?

He steps forwards, tilting his head to the side, folding his arms, "You can see me?" he mutters, raising an eyebrow, his british tongue rings through my ears. My stomach turns as i look down to my notebook, that hes about to so rudely step on, i squeal as the tip of his black boot hits the clean white paper. He frowns, watching my eyes, he follows them to the crisply opened notebook. "Oh." he whispers, bending down. His black leather jacket flows as he crouches. Picking it up, his soft blue eyes scan the scribbled on pages, A little smirk appears on his face.
"I'm sorry, obviously something is going on here, i best leave." i interrupt the intimate date between him and my notebook. His eyes lazily look up to mine, they focus on mine.
My stomach churns in fear, he stands up, a knife flashing out of his pocket. I gulp and step back, holding a weary frown. His lip twitches as he steps towards me, i take more steps back until i'm stuck against a cold marbled wall, him slowly taking more steps towards my demise.
I squeeze my eyes shut, my breath shuddering, but nothing happens. I open my eyes to find him holding out my closed notebook toward my chest, "I won't hurt you darling." he purrs. "What.." i whisper. He takes another step forwards, breathing down on me, "i wont hurt you." he repeats, his expression softening.
"Jace, stop playing with our food!" He shoves my notebook into my hands and turns away, as the female voice enters the room.
"Sorry Evelyn, this one isn't for eating." EATING? Was this a cult? I don't intend to go home dead.
Whimpering i slink past the blonde one, Jace. He grunts behind me, folding his fair arms. I run towards the two looming doors and tug on them, they wouldn't budge, is it jammed? I bite my lower lip and pull harder, they just wouldn't move. I can feel Jaces eyes on mine, i spin around, "Please..." i whisper, flattening myself against the harsh door.
Jace steps forwards, "What's your name?" I shake my head, pulling on the door again. It creaks open as i stumble backwards. I clumsily trip over my long dress and drop my notebook, Jace slowly follows, frowning, "No, don't be afraid." he whispers, holding his hand out.
My heart pumps as leave my book and run down the concrete steps, "GET HER." i hear in the distance.
As i reach the metal gates i look back, Jace is standing at the top of the stairs with my book in his long hands, his mouth slightly agape. Behind him, a shorter, smaller older man with greying hair is watching me aswell, a shocked look on his stubbled face. I throw open the heavy gate doors and run out, this isn't good...
