"what a time, what a time, what a time!"

GOOD MORNING FAMILY! AMELIA'S VOICE RANG OUT AS SHE ENTERED THE KITCHEN, HER RECENT VACATION IN HAWAII CLEARLY HAVING DONE WONDERS FOR HER MOOD. However, her happiness was short-lived.

Upon stepping into the kitchen, Amelia found only Alex, the younger of her siblings, waiting there. She quizzically asked, "Where is everybody?"

Alex replied matter-of-factly, "Dad told me to get you and hurry to the car." A sense of disappointment washed over Amelia's face as she processed Alex's words. She couldn't help but inquire, "You're not coming with us... are you?"

Alex explained, "Luke has some project," leaving Amelia with no choice but to accept her fate. She let out an audibly disgruntled sigh, a clear indication of her annoyance. She knew this car ride would be excruciating, filled with the endless stream of random facts Alex was known for.Despite her irritation, Amelia refrained from arguing further. She understood that it was a futile endeavor. Alex was coming along, and there was no escaping it. Alex, fully aware of her invincible position at the moment, reveled in the situation.

With an impish grin, Amelia warned her sister, "Don't irritate me with idiotic facts that no one cares about." The two sisters then made their way to the car, Alex smirking in anticipation of the fun she was about to have.

ALEX!

"You know what Newton says, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." The camera pans towards Alex's face which had a smirk on it.

""Mom saw you on TV. You're dead," came the proclamation from alex causing the colour on Phil face to fade.

Phil, Gloria, Alex, Amelia, and Manny were engrossed in the basketball game. Alex, it seemed, had momentarily forgotten her mission of tormenting Amelia, a development that had the latter quite content. After all, nobody relished being on the receiving end of Alex's pranks.

Earlier, Phil and Gloria had found themselves locking lips thanks to the kiss cam, adding an unexpected twist to the evening. Meanwhile, Alex had just wrapped up a phone call with Haley, and Manny and Amelia were both thoroughly engrossed in the game.

Amelia had been diligently avoiding Alex for the first half of the game, but that strategy had its consequences. She had, regrettably, missed the sight of MICHAEL B. JORDAN on the big screen, and that was enough to send her spiraling into a whirlwind of vexation. It wasn't every day you missed a heartthrob of that caliber on the jumbotron.

Determined not to miss any other noteworthy moments, Amelia was now glued to the game. She couldn't afford to let anything else slip by her radar. After all, what if someone in the heat of the game decided to rip their shirt off? That was something she simply couldn't afford to miss.

Amelia stood before the mirror, her wide eyes reflecting sheer panic. Her once-pristine dress bore the unmistakable stain of dirt, an undeniable blotch that her mother would undoubtedly unleash her fury upon. Claire had been persistently reminding Amelia for the past week to ensure her dress remained impeccable. However, being her usual self, Amelia had made no effort to heed her mother's advice, and now she found herself in this dire predicament.

"Amelia!" her mother's voice called out yet again. Claire, renowned for her limited patience, had finally run out of it. "Coming!" Amelia hurriedly responded, hoping that her mother's summons would buy her at least another twenty minutes. Claire had plenty on her plate today, much to Amelia's relief.

Amelia navigated her way to the master bathroom, frantically searching through the cluttered contents of the cabinet beneath the sink. She scoured for any product that might salvage her dire situation. Amid the bizarre assortment of items that would make it awkward to look Jay and Gloria in the eye, she unearthed a blue bottle bearing Spanish text and an image of a spotlessly clean shirt. Amelia pondered, "How bad could it be?"

With a mixture of hope and trepidation, she poured a capful of the liquid onto the stained fabric, witnessing a brief improvement in the dress's appearance. But her fleeting relief soon gave way to despair as the once faint blemish expanded, and her dress took on a dismal shade of brown.

In a panic, she rushed to rinse the garment under running water when she heard delighted squeals from outside the window. Peering through the glass, she witnessed her family frolicking in the mud, their laughter echoing in the air. The photographer they had hired looked utterly baffled by the unexpected spectacle.

A sense of ironic relief washed over Amelia. It appeared to be a fortuitous day for her, as the attention had shifted away from her fashion mishap. She hurried downstairs to join in the muddy fun with her family, a grin of gratitude spreading across her face. Today, her dress disaster had turned into a muddy delight, and for that, she couldn't be more relieved.
