"Gods, where could she be?" Ingrid muttered. Hiccup and Ingrid were soaring over Berk atop Toothless, looking for any sign of a Flightmare.

"I can't believe you managed to train a Flightmare, of all things," Hiccup said.

"Believe me, it wasn't easy," Ingrid replied.

"How do you feed it? I thought they only fed on the glowing algae that lights up during Arvendales Fire," Hiccup asked.

"It can feed on all kinds of moss and algae," Ingrid explained, "But when it comes to food, nothing beats Arvendales Algae. That's what gives it its signature glow."

"I see," Hiccup said, "Well, good to hear that you remember that. Now, did you have any form of dragon call?"

"I'd never considered it, though now I wish I had," Ingrid sighed.

"Hey, what's that?" Hiccup pointed at a figure in the distance. He pulled out a spyglass.

"Astrid, and she's headed for us," Hiccup said, "This can't be good."

Hiccup opened up Toothless's tail and they soared towards Astrid and Stormfly.

"I have good news and bad news," Astrid called.

"Right, what's the good news?" Hiccup asked.

"I haven't seen the Screaming Death anywhere," Astrid replied.

"And the bad news?" Hiccup asked.

Astrid pointed towards a trail of rocks and dirt which snaked its way across the ground and ended in a large hole.

"Oh gods," Hiccup sighed.

They landed beside the hole and peered into it.

"That is definitely a Screaming Death tunnel," Hiccup said.

"How much bigger do you think it's got?" Astrid asked.

"Not quite big enough for it to sink the whole of Berk before we can find it and chase it away?" Hiccup suggested hopelessly.

"That's good enough for me," Astrid said.

"Maybe if we go into the tunnels we can find it," Ingrid suggested.

"Are you crazy? What if it finds us before we find it?" Astrid yelled.

"We'd be sitting ducks down there," Hiccup added.

"Yeah, ignore my suggestion. Gods, you'd think I'd be trying to avoid taking another tail to the head," Ingrid sighed.

Hiccup turned and stared at Ingrid.

"A-Another?" he asked.

"Yeah, when... when I was flying after the Screaming Death, we got in too close and it smacked me really hard with the tip of its tail," Ingrid began to recall, "I fell off of Aurora's back and must have landed where you found me."

"...I think we need to get into the air. We need to keep searching," Hiccup said, and with that they took off.

They flew for a little longer over Berk, looking around for any more signs.

"Hiccup, I..." Ingrid began.

"Yes?" Hiccup urged her to continue.

"I think, and I'm not sure, but I just have this really bad feeling that Aurora followed the Screaming Death."
