"Hi!" Akaashi blushed. He slipped a little bit away from Bokuto. Bokuto backed up giving the dark haired hottie more room.

"'Kaashi?" Bokuto asked. A smile curved his perfect lips.

"I always loved it when you called me that. I never let anyone else do it, Bokuto-san." He said.

"What? Really?" Bashfully Bokuto blushed messing up his hair.

"Yeah." Akaashi's blush deepened.

"So, um, you're, um not mad..." Bokuto picked at a paper hanging on the wall. "... at me, I mean, for um..." his couldn't get the rest of the words out.

Cool strong hands touched his chin. At first they were gentle at trying to get him to turn his head. The spiker was a bit stubborn and denied the gentle touch. More forcibly, the setter, added pressure to the chin. Bokuto couldn't hold out. His head turned. Akaashi smirked.

"I win!" He joked softly. He laid his forehead against Bokuto's.

"Why would I ever be mad at you, Bokuto-san?" He asked. His hand roamed down Bokuto's arm. When it reached his hand, Akaashi twisted his fingers around. He linked his long thin ones between the large thick digits of the spiker. He raised his eyes.

"I, I choked you and, and you, well you weren't able to breathe...." Bokuto mumbled. Akaashi chuckled.

"Is that why you ran away?" He asked. He felt Bokuto nod. Akaashi pulled back. Still hiding Bokuto's hand, he leaned against the wall.

"Do you recall the first time we met?" Akaashi asked.

"Volleyball practice. Your first year." Bokuto stated confidently.

"That's when we were officially introduced, yes." Akaashi nodded. "You once asked me why I joined the club, since I had never played before." Akaashi recalled.

"Yeah, you said your mom played..." Bokuto looked concerned.

"Which she did, but it wasn't the reason I joined Fukurodani." Akaashi told him as he rubbed his thumb on the back of Bokuto's hand. Bokuto was mesmerized by the motion.

"What was?" He asked.

"You. You were the reason I applied to Fukurodani." Akaashi told him. "I saw you, over the summer before I was to select the high school I wanted to go to." He explained.

"You, and at the time I didn't know who the other guy was, but Kuroo, played with you." Akaashi looked up at the ceiling. He recalled how him and his friend often walked by the park on their way to an art class they had signed up for.

"Watching you play, was like art. You had this perfect form. The way your body bowed, how thrilled you were when you hit the ball." He smiled seeing it as in his mind. "I think I fell in love with you then." Akaashi admitted.

"How did you know what school I attended?" He asked.

"Kuroo told me." Akaashi stated. He smiled down his thin nose as he looked at Bokuto without moving his head.

"He probably doesn't even remember, but one day you weren't there when my friend and I were heading home. My friend had to hurry to get back, but I stopped. I was so disappointed that you weren't there. I walked in to ask Kuroo where you were. See, you hadn't been there that morning either." Akaashi explained.

Bokuto's brows drew together. "Really?" he looked thoughtful. "Kuroo and I always practiced there. It was about the halfway point between our houses." Bokuto stated rubbing at his chin.

"Right, Kuroo told me you had a dentist appointment and that he was just hanging around hoping you would come by." Akaashi said. "We talked about volleyball. He gave me some pointers, explained the positions to me, stuff like that. I was there a few hours. Then he decided you weren't coming and he had to leave." Akaashi recollected.
