What is love?

Love is complicated yet beautiful,

It's something many people yearn for -

Yet some can never truly have.

What is love?

Love is annoying yet tender,

No matter how much you might argue -

You'll always run back to one another.

What is love?

Love is heart-breaking yet breath-taking,

Love is putting someone else's happiness before your own -

Even if it's killing you from the inside out.

What is love?

Love is sad yet happy,

Love is falling in love with someone; knowing it might hurt,

Yet still being happy and accepting the pain,

What is love?

Love is disruptive yet harmonious,

Love is finding your soulmate -

But sometimes having to let them go...

I may not know how it feels to be loved,

But I know what love means,

I know it means that even if it hurts -

I loved them enough to let them go.
