It's been fifteen minutes since New started staring at Bright the latter stared back from time to time which makes New look away blushing with a small smile. The three siblings made a discussion to confess to the triplet as per their lottery. So New and Win had to confess but not who they were in love with. Krist did say he liked three of them so confessing to Singto seems fine for him. But New was not okay to propose to Tay to be his boyfriend as he is deeply in love with Bright but Win seemed normal.
New didn't turn away this time when he met Bright's deep brown Cristal clear eyes stared back at him. He doesn't have the strength to look away pretending as if he didn't have a feeling for the latter.
“I will go and ask Bright now. Seeing the smile on Krist's face, it seems he went well.” New came back from his thoughts, hearing Win's voice which give him a slight pain in his chest.
“Yes, hmm good luck.” New tried to suppress his urge of crying but his voice betrayed him.
Win who stand up to go, turn to his stepbrother who looked like he was about to cry and pull the latter face on his stomach to comfort him,
“Now, did something happen? Are you hurting somewhere?” Win asked but getting wetness on his shirt as a replied so he seemed to understand the situation, “Did you have a nightmare today? And still, remember it?” New nodded on Win's stomach.
Before New parents got into that car accident they told New about his brother,
“New, son. Do you want to have brothers?” his mother asked him softly by cubbing his face while kneeling in front of him after he finished arguing with his husband.
New eyes widen with excitement and let out a happy scream and exclaimed, “Mom, I want two. Give me two brothers.”
“This is good news then... New baby, you already have two brothers.” his father said who just come and pull the kid toward him.
“Really Dad, let's go to meet and bring them here then so we'll live together,” New said with a pleading eye which his mother and father chuckled and kissed on each cheek.
“Okay, but Frist we need to go to the police station.” his father said.
But they weren't able to make it to the police station which makes New never get to meet his other two brothers but get to meet nightmare instead.
“So dad, how old are they? Are they handsome?”
“They are your ages and you know one of them too.”
“Who is he mon?”
“It’s a surprise baby.” New was happy and surprised that he even jumped up and down to get surprised by the car accident in which he lost his parents in front of his eyes.
Krist has his father, Win has his mother and they lived together which made New lonely. So Krist and Win had a little protective of him as New is a bit innocent too. But getting nightmares and losing his love for his brother didn't help him at all.
“Feeling better now?” Win asked after the latter calmed down.
“um... So go, don't waste your time on me.” he pushed Win to go and confess to Bright after wiping his tear, “Good luck.” he said as Win started going confidently towards the two brothers.
On the other hand, Bright and Tay saw the affection between the two siblings. It's been about a month since they acknowledged their crush was his father's lover and started noticing the three siblings who worked hard to get their attention.
“I wonder how come they become steps brothers. They also seem so close to each other like us.” Tay wondered out loudly.
“Don’t you think they look slightly similar too? ” Bright also supports his brother.
“Yes. And I think that one is cute. Should I try my luck?” Tay asked with a slight smile while pointing at Win.
Bright let go a sigh of relief and turn to Tay and shrugged simply. These few days he has been observing New from time to time and found that he is really cute, sassy and adorable so he was waiting for the perfect time to ask him out. The other two are also the same but in Bright eyes, the pale one looks a little bit innocent.
“It seems like my chance is low,” Tay said which make Bright look at him and followed his eyes only to see Win coming to him so confident that Bright hope was gone.
“Hey Bright, can I talk to you for a sec?” Win asked confidentially which made Tay increase his admiration.
Bright already knew what is it all about but he just nods the others to follow him which Win did with a satisfied grin. He know that the three siblings liked their triplet and now his brother Singto was enjoying his time with one of the siblings, Krist. And Bright is coming toward him, so he now concluded that New like Tay as he kept coughing New looking in their direction these past few weeks. After being caught staring at him a few times, Bright built up his hope but it seems they are about to fall.
“So?” Bright asked after stepping a few steps away.
“Okay. So...” Win started but take a deep breath to form a line which he failed so, “Okay, I don't want to sugarcoat my word so I'll go directly on the point.” He looked at Bright who had an unreadable face and continue,
“So... you remember the time when you triplet kept rejecting us? I think you do. At that time we like your triplet and can't choose one so we did a little lottery and I've got you from the lottery...”
Win suddenly gasped and covered his mouth with both hands after realisation hit him of what he is talking about even though he saw the changes in Bright's expressionless smirk. With his teasing smirk, Bright leaned down and asked,
“Is that so?”
An expression which was hard to see on Win's face now was back, the confident, proud face of the latter was now turned into a nervous one designed with a dark shade of red. Seeing the change Bright blinks and thought,
‘He is cute and adorable...’
Win gulped, “And I kinda like you too so... Give me your phone...” with a confused look Bright give his phone.
After taping for a minute, Win gave it back to Bright,
“So boyfriend. See you tomorrow on our date. Bye.” Win winked at the latter and go by waving a bye kiss.
Bright was stunned for a moment and opened his phone only to see his Facebook status updated in relationship with Win. He froze a moment and looked up to see the confident guy but saw New blushing around Tay who seems like trading the latter. Noticing the uncomfortable of New, Bright smirked and mumbled,
“How long do you think you will be fooling me?”
