Everyone seems to be happy with her, but not me.

It all started one year ago, me and my friends were hanging out in the school canteen during lunch, laughing and making fun with each other. We did this almost every time we see each other, so, the students and teachers were used to us making a mess everywhere we go. After that, we went to our separate ways. But me and Jungkook were always together. We have the same class, most of the clubs that we attended are the same and we live in the same street.

After a long walk, we found our classroom. It was the same as always, chaotic, everyone doing their own things, some goofing around, and some were flirting. We took our seats and a minute after that, our teacher came in, with a big smile plastered on her face.

Why is she smiling like that? Don't tell me that we have a surprise exam today?! I haven't read a single word about our recent topics! I looked over to Kook to see his reaction and also to seek some answers, but he just stared at me, also confused and nervous at the same time. Before i can even utter a word to my best friend, a girl came in.

" Greetings everyone, my name is Choi Haera. Please take care of me. "

I felt relieved for a minute, she was smiling because of a transfer student? She rarely smiles, so there's really something special about this new girl.

Well, she's really beautiful and she looks so innocent.

" she is a scholar. She was transferred here because of her outstanding grades, the principal himself chose her. So treat her nicely. Did you get me? " Ms. Lee explained

" Yes ma'am " we answered.

The new student, took the seat in front of us. She waved a hand at us and smiled brightly. I smiled back and turned to my right side, just to see kook being mesmerized by her beauty. I can't blame him though, she's like a goddess. It hurts to see that his eyes sparkles when she smiled at him. As his best friend, we spent a lot of time with each other and i can't help but to catch some  feelings for him. And it made me feel something troubling to see him giving that look to her.

The class ended and the new girl already have a lot of followers, i mean friends. I took all my belongings and on my way to kook when, the new girl appeared. I looked at her and tilted my head. She waved to me and faced kook.

So she wants to have a conversation with kook? Okay, I'm not his girlfriend to stop him from talking with some girl, so I decided to let them talk.

" kook, I'll just wait for you, here. " i mouthed to him.

He nodded. I went to a seat near the door and took my phone out. After a few minutes, i felt someone tap my shoulder so i looked at my back.

" hey lili, let's go? " he said, while smiling brightly.

" okay! By the way, jisoo eonnie wants the squad to eat together, you in? " i asked.

" of course! So when? "

" she texted the time and venue on our group chat "

" wait, let me just get my phone. " He answered.

It took him a minute to open his phone, so we stopped walking for a moment, i saw him smile at his phone, like an idiot. Is he that happy to have a get together? I asked him the reason to why he smiled like that,but he changed the topic and told me he can't see Jisoo eonnie's message because Jimin oppa removed him. If he didn't see her message the what was he smiling about?

I let it go.

We went to the venue together and had a lot of fun.

The next day, we walked to school together, as usual. Some people who see us together, mistook us as a couple, but neither of us told them that we aren't. We just let them say it.
