Ms. Yuki explained how she hadn't been the same since her sons death. She was a single mom and he was all she had.
"I see so much of him in you. You two looked like complete opposites but I swear you were the same kid on the inside. You always agreed, somehow. Even if it was the dumbest idea." She smiled and looked up at the ceiling. "Oh I still remember the phone call. He was the only one who didn't make it out. Sometimes I think about how he prevented a bunch of those devastating phone calls." She closed her eyes.

He was driving away from Ms. Yuki's house after 2 days of staying there. Jackson was like a second son to her and she loved having him around, but he coulsn't stay in the U.S. for too long. His phone rang in his pocket.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Aizawa."
"Oh hi. What's up?"
"Good news actually. They managed to crack Toga and the rest of the League had been arrested. Turns out they were working with All for One."
"Wow."
"Yeah. Sorry to interupt your summer, I just thought you should know, since you are the one who captured Toga in the first place."

Once Jackson was finally where he wanted to be, he opened the trunk of his rental car and pulled out a ziplock bag with 2 items in it. He went into the cemetary and started searching until he found the name he wanted.

He pulled out the photo from the bag and set it on the ground. He kissed the 2 ring halves and placed them atop the headstone. Finally, after 10 years, he felt the warm sensation of purple flowers as he grazed his fingertips along the top of the headstone. And he enjoyed it.
