Chapter 20

LAUREN'S POV

"Let's go guys." Ally said as we had like 30 minutes until stage. We all walked out by I pulled Dinah aside real quick.

"Girl, go out and rock this. Show him what he's missing cuz we all know that he's gonna be stalking you." I said telling her the truth.

"Thanks Lau, let's kill this!" She said grabbing my hand and catching up to the girls.

Our intro played and we said a quick goodbye to everyone and headed out to our fans. This is gonna be the craziest show ever since its our last one on this tour.

The show went on great and we rushed on and waited for the Brave, Honest, and Beautiful into to come on. The intro is exactly what we wish we could tell all of our friends.

"Lauren, they aint ready for this." Normani said into the mic as we skipped onto the stage for encore.

"We're gonna bring out some girls and boys that we believe are brave, honest, and beautiful." I said into the mic not even looking to who was coming on.

"Hey yo Keaton, bring that bass." Normani said into the microphone.

Keaton along with all of our friends and family, management, and the openers came on.

Keaton came over and grabbed my hand. We never officially told the fans even though we were dating for around 2 and a half years. I was initially shocked because it wasn't just us and the people we knew.

I look over to see Shawn singing to Callie, Wes singing to Ally, Bea is singing to Normani, and Camila is singing to her sister who came on stage while everyone else just danced around us.

The fans screamed as Keaton sang the song with me looking straight into my eyes. I know it sounds cliche but it really felt like we were the only people in the room. At the end of the song Keaton was about to kiss me but held back and winked knowing management would freak out. They said that we could be open but I just wanna keep everyone guessing.

Walking off stage Keaton grabbed my hand pulling me to the side. Giving me a cute, innocent kiss on my lips.

"You know, every word I said to you I mean it. I love you more than anything Lauren and I'm so proud of you for adopting Callie." He said pulling me into a very tight and protective hug.

"Sorry to break up the moment love bugs but we gotta head back." Camila says coming over to us.

We nod and walk over to the group. Callie is snuggled into Shawn nearly asleep and Shawn is rubbing her side. She's not even like this with all of the girls. I think my baby has a crush.

Shawn looks up and blushes when he sees that I am watching him. I give him the "we will talk later" look and he nods knowing what is coming for him. By now Callie is deep asleep and I feel bad waking her up.

I walk over to lean down and pick her up, but I feel a hand on my back pulling me away.

"Babe, Ill get her. Your gonna hurt yourself." Keaton said picking her up bridal style and she immediately cuddled into his stomach.

"Okay but please be careful. She is really nervous around new people and I dont want to bring anything up about her past." I say to him giving her a kiss on the head and giving Keat one on the lips. He is honestly the best boyfriend ever.

"I wanna talk to Shawn for a minute. Camila, could you go with Keaton just in case she wakes up and freaks out or has a nightmare." I said and with that everyone walked out the room.

"Lauren before you start, I know what your going to say. And I would never hurt Callie. I just met her recently and love her already. I plan on being the best and biggest gentlemen ever and taking her out on dates and always checking in on her. Plus I haven't asked her on a date yet." Shawn said looking at the ground.

"Thanks Shawn, that means a lot to me as her mother but I just want to warn you to be careful when you touch her." I stopped.

" I know that when you were stroking her side you were doing it to sooth her but sometimes if you would do something like that she could have a flashback. She has a horrible past and although its not my story to tell I just thought I would warn you if anything were to happen." I continued.

"And I trust you, but I know what happens in relationships now a days because Im not much older than you. And I'm not going to go crazy when you guys start becoming intimate, I mean its crazy if I would.BUT with that said please try to be considerate and try to take it slow.

"I know you are a little older than her but Shawn, she hasn't really had that type of contact in a positive way and might get scared. I dont care if you are literally in the middle of sex, if she freaks out or has a panic attack, stop, calm her, and call me and tell me the truth. I won't be mad or anything, I just want to be there for her. And dont forget, I'm still your friend. " I said giving him a hug.

"Okay Lauren thanks for telling me. And I promise I will. When she wakes up, I'm gonna ask her out on a date. Am I allowed to have it the day after your party?" He asked.

"Anytime Shawn. But you better not break my babys heart." I answered and with that we walked out of the arena and into the bus that was driving me back to my house.

And there is when I saw the most beautify sight in my life. My boyfriend holding my sleeping daughter on his lap with her curled into him latching on. I walked over and laid down next to them on the couch resting my head on Keaton who I thought was asleep but he moved his arm around me as well.
