The Journey ~ a lumax story

The morning comes. The sun is shining bright and early and the party start getting ready for the trip.

Mikes house
"Mike! Are you done getting ready you need to eat before you pick up your friends!" Karen shouts up to him
"Just about.. and done!" Mike picks up his bags and places them by the front door. As he walks into the kitchen His mom, Karen, puts bread in the toaster for him.
"Your dad is outside attaching the car and caravan together so make sure to say thank you before you leave."
"Okay, okay" Mike responded barely paying attention
"Oh, and make sure to say goodbye to Holly before you leave if she's not up write her a note or something, and make sure to call Nancy as soon as you are free to. Also call me at your first stop!"
"Yes, I know mom. Also can't you write the note to Holly I don't think I have time!"
"Gosh Michael, just write it now and I'll give it to her when she wakes up." Karen says passing him a piece of paper and a pen.
"Thanks." He starts writing, as he is his toast pops up which his mom puts out on a plate for him. Mike passes the note to his mom and eats his toast. He says with a mouth full of food "what time is it?"
"Gosh Michael! Swallow your food before talking! It's 5:45. You need to leave soon"
Michael was about to talk but rolls his eyes and swallows his food.
He says to his mom he will be right back as he runs to the front door grabs his backs and puts them in the caravan so it's done. He runs back inside and walks towards his mom.
"I'm gonna leave now, I'll miss you mom."
It shows Karen tear up and hug him "I don't know what it's going to be like around here without you for weeks" Mike laughs and says
"Gosh what are you gonna be like when I move out?" They both laugh and walk out to the caravan.
Ted stands up and says "Right, son there are enough for 4 in the car and 2 in the caravan you can sort that out between your friends when you meet." Ted puts his hands on his hips and turns towards the car
"Thanks dad." Mike says in a kind tone for once.
Ted turns around and says "your welcome" Mike actually walks towards his dad and hugs him before getting into the car, waving goodbye again and driving off.
"When did he become a reasonable adult?" Ted questions

Mike picks up Dustin first, The will and el, then Max and finally Lucas
They all stop to try and negotiate which 4 goes in the car and which 2 go in the caravan.
In the end it was always going to be Mike drives and El in the passenger seat.
They decided Will and Dustin go in the cars back seats, while Max and Lucas are in the caravan

Authors note
Im sorry this chapter was shorter than the first I just wanted it to be more about them getting sorted in the car and caravan and setting off on there journey im sure you can see where it's going with Max and Lucas. Or maybe not could be some plot twists you'll find out, enjoy
