After 2 days Max was released from the hospital. Unfortunately for them it was the last day of the holiday.

"We still don't know how to get home." Will sighed.

"Actually my mom told me she got a seat put into the boot of her car." Max giggled.

"How many?" Dustin asked.

"A seat Dustin, 1." Max shook her head.

"And- who's going to be sat there..?" Dustin looked around, he knew it would be him.

"Uhm Well.. El wants to sit in the passenger seat next to my mom to talk and apologize." Max said with a nervous look on her face.

"And me, Will and Max have been bonding and talking a lot recently so we want to sit next to each other." Lucas looked away.

"You know what I wanna sit in the boot. I get to watch Netflix on my phone without being bothered by all of you." Dustin sassily flicked his hair making them all laugh.

After an hour, Susan arrived.

"Sorry am I late?" She asked.

"No it's fine." Max smiled getting in the car.

"So El why did you want to sit next to me?" Susan was confused, she thought Max would want to sit next to her.

"I just want to talk and apologise, we'll talk in a minute." El shut the car door.

"Dustin you alright back there?" Susan asked sincerely but it made everybody laugh.

"Yes actually, it's really comfortable." They all chuckled but Dustin was actually being serious.

"We all ready to set off?" Susan asked looking around at all of them.

They all gave her a thumbs up and they were off home.

"Susan." El said.

Susan gave her a quick look before turning back to the road "Yes?"

"I'm sorry.. for what I did, well what I said about Max. I didn't think she would you know." El looked down.

"Oh don't blame yourself for that, I mostly blame Billy and Neil. I mean you were the one who saved her dear." Susan smiled.

"I guess." El smiled to her.

"So what's going on in your life?" Susan asked.

"My ex boyfriend tried to get back with me after getting another girl pregnant then when I found out he just ran away and nobody had heard from him." El frowned.

"Mike did that?" Susan asked shocked.

"Mhm." El sighed.

"I'm sorry El." Susan took one of her hands of the wheel and patted her shoulder.

In the back of the car Will and Max were talking while Lucas had already fallen asleep.

"So are you and Lucas back together?" Will asked looking at the sleeping Lucas.

"Kinda." Max smiled.

She turned to look at Lucas and kissed him quickly which Susan instantly responded to.

"Max stop kissing your sleeping boyfriend." Susan scolded her, It woke him up.
