When we kissed it was like magic.....

I didn't mean the kiss, though.... There was literal magic!!! Lights appeared around us... the man disappeared and suddenly our hair began to float. I looked at him and he looked at me shocked.

When all of the lights suddenly disappeared, we looked at each other confused, and began to grab ourselves to see if we could tell if anything happened.

"Wow.... Took the two of you long enough...." A voice spoke. I froze, terrified, as I recognized her voice so clearly. Francis stood up quickly and stood in front of me. "Still so protective... I guess some things never change," she laughed.

Why couldn't I move? I was frozen stiff... terrified of looking at the witch. "Hey!! Leave us alone already; haven't you done enough?" Francis yelled angrily. I finally turned to look at her and it was just as I remembered.

"Hmmm, more than seven hundred years since the two of you stopped aging and... Dying..... it was really fun honestly... And Francis figured me out the other day..... the curse was only supposed to be for you Arthur, but this turned out way better!!! The two of you are entertaining to watch..." she began laughing.

I stood up finally and glared at her with so much anger. "So we were just entertainment to you?" I asked angrily. She smiled at us like nothing and nodded. "Ahh, yes!!! Francis was the most interesting to watch too!!! Did you know he tried to kill himself one hundred and fifty times? And when he got tired of doing it... He took it out on other people," she laughed.

"Are you done?" I asked, annoyed.
"No... You see... I'm struggling whether or not I want to keep the two of you cursed or not..."
"How about you leave us alone... Don't do this to other people...." Francis spoke.

"You see... Not exactly easy... The only way for me to live forever is to do this to people... Once the curses are broken, I have to quickly find someone new or recurse the same person..... it's a tough decision, but I choose to live forever," she laughed in an evil way.

We both looked at her terrified, and she began to get annoyed. "How about this..... Francis I'll give you another choice..... it's either you and Arthur again... or your sweet little boys Alfred and Matthew," she laughed. My eyes widened, and I was about to go toward her, but Francis held me back. "Don't you dare hurt them!!!"

"Hmmm, clocks ticking Francis... I only have ten minutes left so hurry," she laughed. What happens after ten minutes?

Francis looked to me and back to the witch seriously, "take us ......again..."
"Are you sure? It will be harder to break this time? Your memories go poof!" She laughed.

My eyes widened and I glared at her "that would be impossible to break!!" I yelled at her. However, she didn't care; she just continued to laugh.

Francis looked at me sadly and smiled "we will always find each other," he reassured me. "TAKE US AGAIN!!! Just... Don't hurt the boys," he spoke sadly. The woman began to laugh and then she suddenly stopped.

The sudden sound of piercing... I recognized it too often—the sound of someone being impaled, impaled with a sword. I looked at the woman and saw a sword had been stabbed right through her.

My eyes widened, and the woman fell to her knees. "What the?" I spoke, confused. When the woman fell... We saw that Alfred was here.

"What are you doing here? Why are you here? How did you find that?" I asked so many questions as I ran to him. My boy... How was he able to just do that without hesitation? Francis walked over to the woman and pulled the sword out of her.

He gave her the deadliest look and kicked her over onto her back. "Matthew and I wanted to spy on you, and I found the sword... When she came out of nowhere, Matthew said if I stabbed her with it, she would go away," he said quickly. "So you stabbed her?"

"She was going to hurt you," he began to cry. Matthew suddenly came out of nowhere, and I looked at him angrily. "Why would you tell him to stab her? He could have gotten hurt?!!"

"She... She said she only had ten minutes left... So I figured that she was vulnerable," Matthew spoke, shaking. I looked back to Francis, who had stabbed her through the heart.

My eyes widened seeing him do it unbothered, but I understood why. "Boys go over to that tree and turn around," I demanded. They both nodded to me and ran to where I pointed.

I walked over toward Francis and saw the witch try to do something with her hands. I quickly stepped on her hand to stop her, and Francis did the same with her other.

When Francis pulled the sword out of her, ash began to fly everywhere. It was like she was turning into dust. She kept trying to catch her breath, but she was suffering..... and I loved every bit of it.

"Go to hell!!" I yelled at her. I grabbed the sword from Francis and proceeded to strike her through the throat. That right there was the last stab to cause her to poof into dust.

"Ewwww," Francis said, wiping some of it off him.
"Does this mean she is gone? Forever?"
"I'm not sure.... But she isn't here for now," he spoke.
We heard footsteps running toward us, and we both looked to see Matthew and Alfred charging at us. "Please don't be mad at us!!! We only wanted to spy," Alfred cried into Francis, and Matthew cried into me.

"Come on... Let's just go home for now," I smiled at them. I was shaken up, and I couldn't wait to go home and cry, too, if I was going, to be honest.
