Buzz! Bzzzz! Buzzzz!
Jeongwoo's phone keeps on vibrating indicating someone was calling him. He was on his work almost done so he decided to answer the call and head home as he already miss the love of his life. The one he dearly love, his happiness, his sunshine, his home. Kim Doyoung.
"hello jungkyu hyung" he said the moment he answered the call. It was Doyoung's brother Kim Jungkyu.
"J-Jeongwoo, hurry up D-Doyoung... He is in hospital!" Jungkyu said almost in one breath. Jeongwoo knows that the older was crying at the moment and it didn't help him at all. He was nervous.
He quickly drove his car towards the hospital where doyoung was in. Jungkyu send him the address.
As he arrive at the said place, jeongwoo quickly head out of his car then run as fast as he can towards Doyoung's room. He was still on his work attire, he run as fast as he can not minding the people he bumps into. He didn't care what might other people think, all he cares was Doyoung, his boyfriend.
The moment he arrive at Doyoung's room, he quickly went inside and the moment he enter the room he feels like his whole world collapsed.
There he is, Kim Doyoung... Laying on his bed peacefully. Apparatus was attached on the latter's body. Ticking of machine besides Doyoung's bed was the thing only heard inside the four corners.
Jungkyu was sitting quitely beside Doyoung, together with Mashiho, his boyfriend. Mashiho was just comforting the older by saying some comfort words and sweet nothings. Their little moment was interrupted when jeongwoo entered the room. Both looked at jeongwoo with sad eyes.
Jeongwoo felt like his whole world crashed. Tears flowing down his face nonstop. He went near Doyoung's bed. Jungkyu on the other hand give jeongwoo some privacy so they decided to leave the younger first. Both males head out the room leaving jeongwoo beside Doyoung.
The moment jungkyu and mashiho went out, that's when jeongwoo lost it. He cried uncontrollably, it hurting him. Seeing doyoung in this state feared him, he doesn't want to accept it. He doesn't want to hear what the doctors will say neither what jungkyu and mashiho will tell him later. He doesn't want to hear about it yet, because he doesn't want to let go yet.
Yes, Doyoung was sick. The man he love was suffering from cancer stage 3, and doctors already said that doyoung won't last long anymore. And it pained him.
He and Doyoung were together for almost 3 years. They were Inseparable, their love story was one of a kind, the day Doyoung accepted Jeongwoo's Confession back when they were still in college was the best moment for jeongwoo. It was one of his unforgettable moment in his whole life. They were such a lovely couple back in their school days, they were happy. But all the happiness they felt, vanished. The happiness that jeongwoo felt, in a blink of an eye, vanished.
It was their 2nd anniversary. It was supposed to be a happy moments that they will cherish for the rest of their lives, yet it turned out differently. That night which supposed to be their happy moment turned out into a horrible night. Doyoung suddenly felt dizziness then suddenly collapsed. They quickly bring Doyoung to the hospital. That's when they all find out Doyoung's diseases.
It was hard at first. Doyoung lost his cheerful personality, he lost his beautiful smile, he felt down. He can't believe that he was sick all those times. He doesn't want to accept the fact that he was sick. He doesn't want to burden anyone especially jeongwoo. He love the younger so much.
Jeongwoo was sitting their quietly, just staring at the latter's peaceful face. The once blooming face now was pale, the once beautiful smile now was sad, and it pained jeongwoo so much. Doyoung's disease keeps on worsening. He can't help but to felt fear. He don't want to loss the older. He don't want to let go. It hurts.
He was holding Doyoung's hand. Tears was flowing down his face. He kissed the latter's knuckles and mumble "I love you".
Doyoung slowly opened his eyes when he felt someone holding him. He slowly looked at the younger beside him then smiled softly.
"J-Jeongwoo-yah" he called the younger almost whispering. Jeongwoo quickly diverted his gaze on the older.
"Doyoung-ie you awake, thank god" jeongwoo stood up and was about to call the doctor but he stopped when the latter hold him tightly. Jeongwoo went back to his seat and talk to the older.
"Do you want anything love?" he softly asked.
"y-you k-know that I l-love you, right?" the older said. He was weak and jeongwoo knows that.
"Woo I w-want y-you to live y-your l-life in h-happiness even w-without me" tears started to flow down the older's eyes. He was looking directly at the younger's eyes. It was full of love. That's when jeongwoo lost it again for the nth times.
"we both know t-that my time was already near and a-anytime now I m-might leave you" the latter said as he cupped the younger's cheek who's now a crying mess "so I want you to be happy e-even I am not with you anymore".
"don't say that please" jeongwoo hold the latters hand tightly not wanting to let go.
"I love you so much Jeongwoo-yah" he softly said then smile. That smile, jeongwoo happened to saw that smile again. The smile that makes him fall inlove with the older. His beautiful smile.
Jeongwoo was now a crying mess. He don't want to let go yet, but he have to. He don't want Doyoung to leave him yet he need to accept the fact that Doyoung needs to go, sooner or later. It hurts but he need to be strong.... For Doyoung.
"I love you too Doyoung-ie, so much" he said between his sobs.
"can you sing for me love" Doyoung asked.
Jeongwoo just hummed in response "what do you want me to sang love" the younger asked.
"our theme song" Doyoung said, Jeongwoo can help but to let his tears flow freely. He started to sang their song.
"I really love your voice, I wished I could hear it for long" Doyoung cried silently as well as Jeongwoo. The younger just keep on singing even when he's crying. Doyoung started to close his own eyes.
"I'm going to sleep now baby, I love you so much" Jeongwoo knows it was time to let go yet he was still not ready for it. Before it's too late, he quickly leaned into the latter and attached his lips on the latter's own lips. He kissed Doyoung with full of love. He dittached his lips from the older and softly wisphered.
"in the next life, please be still my heart baby, I love you so much you can rest now" jeongwoo said as tears continuously rolled down his eyes, some falls into the older's cheek. Jeongwoo peck him on the lips one last time.
Doyoung smiled at the younger and mumbled "I love you's" until his last breath.
Doyoung left a crying mess Jeongwoo. Little did he know jungkyu was behind the close door all this time. They heard everything, it was painful and he can't help it but to feel sadness and pity towards the two younger. It hurts, he loss his companion, his partner in crime, his brother, his favourite dongsaeng, his baby.

No really, It was hard finishing this story, I love doyoung and I don't want him to be dead in here but I have to cuz it fit the plot perfectly so that's it. Hahaha...
