Heavy walked in the base house, looking better than earlier. He started making his way to Engineer's room, he was someone who got along with Medic quite well so it was only natural to go to him. However he didn't need to walk far before the short man entered his field of vision.

"Ah, Engineer! I have bad news!" The giant catched Engie's attention, and he let out a chuckle as a response. "Well, hate to tell ya, but so do I. We couldn't find the bird anywhere, not even from Demo's 'things I found while drunk' pile." He lowered his head a tad bit. "That is unfortunate, but this about doktor. He will not be koming home, not even for battle I think." Heavy frowned a bit, and just like that the shorter's head was up again.

"Wait, we'll have to be fightin' without doc? What happened?" Engie questioned with surprise while Heavy looked away, upset again. "Well, I made doktor mad... I told Blu Demo and Blu Pyro about missing bird, they promised to help look, but doktor was not happy. He was so mad he shouted, left Heavy with this guilty hurt feeling." He explained, arms crossed. "I do not like this feeling, it feels bad. I made doktor upset, and he made me upset."

"Huh. I wonder why doc didn't like you tellin' them. It's not like they're our actual enemies, besides he gets along well with that Blu Medic right?" Engie sighed a little, visibly getting a little off himself. "I know, that is why I thought it was fine to tell! This is bad... This feels bad too!" Heavy furrowed his brows a little.

"I dunno, in my respectable opinion it's good he ain't here to ruin us with experiments while mad." Scout said, passing by on his way to the living room. "But he should be here for battle! Only sensitive cowards don't fight!" Soldier managed to shout his input from the kitchen, leaving a bad taste in the two's mouths.

"Hate to say it, but he really should be here for whenever fightin' starts. We need him, a lot at that, and durin' the battle personal emotions are a big no-no." Engie shrugged, standing straight from the wall he was leaning on as he started to walk away to his workroom. Heavy remained there, standing still with that bad taste on his tongue.

"... Team needs doktor to survive. Heavy needs doktor to survive. But if doktor is upset would he help team? Would he help Heavy?" He frowned, making his way to his room. The situation definitely didn't sit right with him at all, he wasn't even craving a sandvich.

...

Medic had calmed down, well at least mostly, and he was now looking around the map nearest to 2Fort. He had been at it for a hot second now, it didn't help that he had to check the same place multiple times either because of his sour mood and inability to focus. No matter how much he called for his beloved dove he didn't come and land on his shoulder. Eventually the sourness caught up to Medic's movements, and he just had to sit down again.

After finding a wooden surface to rest on for now the doctor looked down at his feet quietly. He thought back to 30-40 minutes ago, was that yelling really necessary from his part? Yes, he was upset, but then again Heavy did mean well. Still, though... The two teams weren't always enemies, and even on-field the Medics got along well, but there was still this hiding suspicion.

Eventually Medic leaned forwards, sighing. "Zhat vas so stupid, vhy vould he tell something like zhat so lightly? Und, more importantly, vhy did I snap so heavily? Absolute foolishness..." He shook his head, taking his glasses off and rubbing his eyes again. He was genuinely messed up, and not in his usual insane way. What still remained though was his temptation to go apeshit, and the temptation was pretty much doubled now.

Sitting there in that banana-resembling position made Medic think back to that day he met Archimedes, and the time after that...
