Chapter 3

Serena's P.O.V.

I laughed. I laughed humorlessly and

maliciously. He flinched and this caused me

to laugh harder.

"Oh, you idiot! Don't you know who i am

Jonathan? I am the famous rogue but you

know us from before all of this."

"What-t-t? Do you know me-e?" Well, i

might as well tell him now.

"No idea? How about the fact that i was

called freak, ugly, cow, slut, whore, hoe,

spawn of satan, devil's child, witch, bitch,

and... Shall i go on? You still look so

confused! Does this jog your memory?" I

asked. I slowly raised the shirt so they could

see the skin that lay beneath.

I heard their in-take of breath as they saw

the scars and burn marks. I could smell

their fear as it perminated the air. The word

'OBEY' was written in an intricate design on

my stomach. They should remember me

now. Or maybe not.

"You! You are the she-wolf who

disrespected our alpha and was punished.

Then for vengeance you took his little

brother and sister! You don't deserve to liv

you DEVIL!" an old man behind Jonathan

screamed.

"Thats what he tells you? Funny. If you

want to know the truth listen up. These

pups were beaten daily, just like me. We

were cut, abused, and slaves. If you don't

believe me then you can ask them. I do not

threaten them and they can speak freely."

"Children, come with us. That rogue is a

bad influence. Come home! Your brother

misses you and wants you back where you

belong. All that wolf is good for is spilling

lies. Please, come home." he pleaded. It was

pathetic. To think that a wolf of his position

is begging!

"You lie! He never cared that we existed!

He watched on as Serena, his mate, was

beaten near to death!" Falon spat, her wolf

trying to take over. Then Dominik joined in.

"We consider her our mother and only

family. She was the only one who tried to

protect us and she gave us a chance at life.

We won't go back to that hell-hole." he spat

with a snarl.

"S-s-serena? You were Alpha Drake's true

mate? Why did you run away?"

"Don't you know?" Falon piped up. "He

rejected her and had sex with her sister! He

broke her heart and layered it in ice. The only good thing she could possibly say to

this pack would be 'thank you for not raping

me' but she can't even say that because that

dick you call an alpha took her innocence at

16. Do you really think she, or we, want to

go back to that?!"

After a moment he responded. "I-i-i didn't

know... but you still have to come pack with

us." With that said, he tilted his head and

shots rang out into the stillness that had

settled.
