Beomgyu thought Yeonjun was joking when he first heard those few words Yeonjun said on that day. He thought he was joking, he really did, so Beomgyu decided to mess around with him about it, popping up at random times and asking him of things, or taking things he really didn't need.

He thought Yeonjun wouldn't allow most of the shit Beomgyu gave him, but he dealt with it. Letting him trot away with his food, drinks and other useless necessity Beomgyu bothered him for.

It was the I thought you said you'd be better?  that got Yeonjun to give in to him. Sometimes he felt bad, and sometimes he laughed it off and gave it back to Yeonjun, so he never really thought it'd go farther than that.

But when Yeonjun gave him his milk, whatever they had going on completely shifted.

Beomgyu's admittedly not a clingy type.

Okay, maybe he is. It honestly depended on the person, but his point still stands. He's not exactly the clingy type, opting to letting others cling to him or letting his body do whatever felt right. He had stopped his little love fest with Kai because he needed time with Taehyun, and with that he thought it'd be fun to transfer all that to Yeonjun.

Sure, they still fought, but it was more of in a—what he hated to admit—friendly way. People don't change overnight, Beomgyu knew that. He's sure Yeonjun knew that as well, but it was oddly natural for them. Though, oddly wasn't exactly the right word.

They went from willing each others windows to close each night to talking through those windows. They went from criticizing almost everything about each other to tight-lipped smiles instead. Sometimes the words fought to slip out of Beomgyu's mouth, but he shut them up before he could.

He had something. Something he hadn't had in a long time, and he didn't want to ruin it. Not again, not ever.

"Hey, I don't know what kind of staring contest you're having with that wall, but please stop. It's creeping me out." Jisung says, cupping his chin with a hand. Beomgyu rolls his eyes.

"What did I ever do to you, Han Jisung?"

"Live, maybe." Jisung retorts, "I've also noticed your little thing going on with Yeonjun. What's up with that?"

Soobin peeks up from his phone at that, shutting it off to listen. "Yeah, I was curious about that as well. You two seem.. I don't know, friendly with each other? Kai got news from Taehyun about Yeonjun giving you his milk. Willingly."

"I'm good at persuading?"

Jisung snorts, "no you're not."

"How would you know?"

"You just aren't. You're horrible at it, really."

Beomgyu squints, "again, how would you know?"

"Again, I just do."

"You're annoying." Beomgyu scoffs, mimicking Jisungs pose.

"I know."

The table goes silent as Beomgyu's gaze flicked back to Yeonjun, spooning the horrible lunch food and watching it drop down. He sighs when Yeonjun does it twice more, standing in his seat as he collected his things. "Where do you think you're going?"

Beomgyu smiles, lifting his bag onto his shoulder, "away." And he waves, making his way to Yeonjuns table. He sets his stuff down, startling him. "You seem awfully emo and lonely. Need company?"

Yeonjun sets his spoon down, "yes, actually. Taehyun has continuously ditched me to make out with Huening Kai the total amount of five times. Isn't this a problem for both of us?"
