»Joseph?« I ask as I open the door. »What are you doing here?« My lips form into a smile.

»You asked me to leave London earlier and come here.« He smiles back at me.

»I- I wasn't being serious.« I say. »I mean, I didn't think you'd actually do it.«

»I can leave again.« Joe points to the back, where the exit of the hotel was. He starts laughing at my facial expression.

»No.« I shake my head and speak louder. »No, no, no. Come in.«

I opened the door a little more and gestured Joseph to walk inside. He took off his shoes and followed me into the suite.

»It's scary how easy you can find out where miss Alexis Wheyfield's suite is when you pay for it.« Joe chuckles, making me turn to look at him.

»What?« I ask a little shocked. »You paid- why didn't you just ask me?«

»Then it wouldn't have been as big of a surprise, don't you think?« He grins at me.

I smiled at Joseph as I wrapped my arms around him. He hugged me back tightly and rubbed my back. When he rested his chin on my head I almost cried because of how happy and comfortable he made me feel. I pulled back, my arms were on his shoulders, as I leaned in. Joe put his hand on my cheek while his other one rested on my lower back.

Rhythmically we moved our lips against each other's, slowly. The feeling of his soft lips on mine drove me insane. As well as his hand on my back. I gently let my tongue slide over his lips, to which Joe replied by parting them. Slowly I pushed my tongue inside his mouth. When his tongue brushed mine I unintentionally left out a little desperate sounding sigh. Joseph quietly laughed into the kiss as he saw, or should I say heard, what an impact he had on me.

We let go of each other. I already missed the feeling of him kissing me. When I looked at him, he had this gorgeous, gorgeous smile on his face. A genuine one, as if he was the happiest person in the world right now. I gently stroked his cheek with my thumb. He leaned into my hand and closed his eyes.

»I hate myself so much right now.« I whisper.

Joe immediately opened his eyes again and looked at me. He studied my face, his brows were furrowed.

»What are you talking about?« He asks. »Don't say something like that.«

»I drank again.« I say. »And I know you won't sleep with me unless I'm sober.«

Joseph chuckled and smirked at me. He cupped my face with his smooth hands and placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

»You're cute, you know that?« Joe smiles at me.

»No. You are.« I say and shake my head.

Joseph kissed me again, more gentle and not as long as before, tho. I took his hand in mine and walked him out to the terrace. Joe looked at me as I laid down on one of the daybeds.

»You're staring.« I say and pat on the empty daybed next to me after.

»Because you're pretty.« He says as he sits down.

I bit my lower lip as I looked up at him. Joseph put his hand on my bare thigh. My skin was tingling under his touch. I looked up at the night sky and thought about how lucky I was.

I woke up in Joe's arms and smiled as I heard his calm and steady breath. When I saw that he wasn't wearing a shirt my smile faded and I decided to take a cold shower. We didn't sleep with each other yesterday. All we did was to cuddle until we fell asleep.
