I sang along to the music that was playing on my tv while cleaning up my loft, cause Cara was gonna come over later today. We haven't seen each other in some time now so I invited her over.
»Hey.« I smile at my sister as I open the door.
We walked into the living room. I brought us some drinks and sat down next to Cara.
»You look happy.« She looks at me. »More than usual. Is it because of the guy you told me about?«
I nodded my head at her and smiled.
»Yeah, we've been seeing each other again and he asked me out on a date.« I tell her. »He makes me really happy.« I look down at my fingers.
»Aw.« Cara grins. »Cute. Do you have any pictures of him?« She asks.
I nodded and grabbed my phone. After opening his Instagram profile I handed Cara my phone.
»You know, he's not really my type.« She says while scrolling through his feed. »But he seems like a very kind person and if he makes you happy, I'm happy.«
She gave me back my phone with a genuine smile on her face. I bit my lower lip as I looked down at the screen before putting the phone away again.
