"what the actual hell"

August woke up crying, spooked by things she experienced in her nightmares. She hopes every single day even when she was a child that her nightmares will be gone. But it never did. Even far away from where she originally was, it was still following her. And haunting her. She badly wanted an answer but she doesn't know how or where to find it.

She's half asleep, putting her hand on her bedside table looking for the clock just by her hands to see what time it was.

6:00 am. Exactly 6 am.

It was the time she always woke up after her nightmares. She wonders how much this thing took for her to sleep that much. When for her it felt like the terror lasted for a minute.

August decided to go to school earlier to avoid Billy and everyone at all cost. And she didn't have a choice anyways so she got ready for school, she wore this plain gray hoodie and black pants. Her go-to outfit. She likes long sleeves shirts so it could easily cover her insecurities, her burn scars.

She got to school by riding her bike as usual. Thankfully, Billy was nowhere to be seen and there weren't many people that were present there. It was just her and five to ten students walking around.

After minutes of waiting, the classes finally started.

Of all classes she had today, she clearly put her focus on this class as it was science. She likes knowing more about astronomy and sort of things that are related to science. It was fascinating to her. How the earth moves. How there could be things in space that no one ever discovers.

Although she loves science, the class was still boring as the teacher's soft voice could put everyone to sleep. She decided to put her right hand up and asked for permission to be in the restroom. And thankfully the teacher gave her permission.

But August didn't actually go in the restroom all she did was go to the middle school thinking it will be peaceful so she would have a time alone. While she walks in the hallway, she bumps in with this little kid carrying a lot of books running to get in his class. The books didn't fall as the kid held it in both of his arms tightly as if someone was gonna steal it at any minute.

"Oh sorry" he said, running again without even looking at who he bumped into.

Cute guy but manners needs work. She thought. At least he apologize.
