So yesterday I tried to get into an R rated movie.
And I was this close 🤏
But then I royally weened out.
I MEAN LIKE. Ugh. Like in 5 months I'll be 17 I don't see the big deal.
Like fr. I've seen IT. I can't see the black phone??? T-T i was really looking forward to watching it too.
And like I could've got in too. Because I showed them my drivers license (pff, I have a drivers license but can't watch a spooky movie with violence, yeah. Sure.) and like they looked at it and I took it back. And they were trying to do the math in there head but couldn't figure it out.
And then she was like: "are you 17?" In a major confused voice.
And I was about to say yes so confidently that they would've let us in. But like then the thought of her going: "wait a second..." flashed through me head.
Not to mention I KNEW THE PERSON, THEY WENT TO ME SCHOOL LMAO.
so I just go: "um, we'll I mean, I turn 17 in a month or so."
And then she like: you have to be 17.
And then we left. Without saying a word.
