Percy's POV
I don't know what to say. Princess Annabeth. She looks kind,smart, she's more beautiful than Queen Aphrodite herself! Those Grey eyes, her Blonde Princess curls. She seems like someone I can act myself around. I think this will work out very well, or at least I hope it will.
We walk over to each other and I kiss her hand.
"Princess Annabeth."
"Prince Perseus."
I held out my arm and she grabbed it. We walked into the gardens and I heard her say something.
"You don't have to act all prince like around me. You can act like yourself."
"I don't really have a way too act. I've tried for the past 4 years to make my sister laugh by acting dumb, but it didn't. I'm sorry. I'm just talking about myself. How about you?"
"Um, there's not much to know. I don't have much to talk about."
"Well, what do you like?"
"Ok. I like to read, I play a few instruments, I love chocolate covered strawberries!"
"Really?! Me too!"
I didn't see that coming!
"Awesome! So um..... What's your sister like?"
"Well, she is a little like you. She loves to read, she plays all the instruments we have in our music room. She acts a little moody nowadays. She used to be a little ray of sunshine until..... our mother. Okay, so would you like a tour of the castle when you get there?"
"I would love one. We should get inside. The sun is starting to set.Perseus, I had a great evening with you. I hope we can do this more often." She kissed my cheek and I blushed a little.
"I hope so too. Annabeth, you can call me Percy if you would like."
"Of course. I guess I will see you tomorrow."
"Excellent."
We waved goodbye and I walked over to my sister. She had a little smile on her face.
"Why are you so happy?"
She closed her book and faced me.
"My book ended happily. Also I'm happy for you."
"Why?"
"I see the way you and Princess Annabeth looked at each other. I'm happy for you. I know you will be happy with her."
"Yeah. How so?"
"Remember when mom talked to you about the spark?"
I nodded in reply.
"Well, this what she meant."
"I never noticed it."
"It's called LOVE!"
"Your little smart girl. Hey, can I ask you a question?"
"Shoot."
"For the past 4 years, did I make you happy even a little when I acted stupid?"
"Yes, and thank you.It's just that every time I tried to smile, I'd start crying again. But I'll be okay. Don't worry about me."
With that we left and went home. We had a nice family dinner and had fun like we used to.
