Annabeth POV
Today was the day. I could've just stayed with Percy, I brought this upon myself. I might as well live like this. I am marrying Prince Nico. I will spend the rest of my life regretting leaving Percy. My mom walks into my room and gasps.
"Annabeth, dear, you look beautiful!"
I turned away from her and just let my tears fall.
I felt something warm on my hand and looked up. My mother then spoke up.
"Annabeth.... I know this isn't what you wanted but this is for the best."
