HAWKINS, INDIANAOff in the distance of southern Hawkins, a towering building nesting in a crowded forest was shaken up.The crickets echoing in the night, the light luminous within the building.
Inside, the elevators fill with exhausted staff, tired from the long hours spent in various meetings and other testing. They leaned against the walls of the carriage to make space, The elevator jerking under the weight.
Going up, the elevator jerks as it makes its way to the upper level of the above-ground building. As they filed out, the alarm blares.
The doors shut and lock.
The elevator closes and falls back to ground level.
The scientist panic.
Over the PA, the robotic almost monotone voice of the head guard called "Please remain calm, there's been a report of a missing experiment. At this time-" The voice cut from the loudspeaker and a harrowing scream played through the building. The sound of bones cracking and a heavy force being slammed onto the desk made the staff jump.
"Where are you, you little rat," a jagged male voice spat threw the mic,"I know your in here, come back downstairs I promise you won't get a severe punishment.. .Trust me ...Zero."

"Do you hear that? Listen.. ."
"Something is coming.. .something hungry for blood.A shadow grows on the wall behind you. . . swallowing you in darkness.. . it is almost here"
James Hopper hid behind the 'dungeon master' screen a playfully sinister glare shifting between his friends who stared back worriedly. They shifted in their seats awaiting the next aspect of the story, a silence filling the room.
"What do you think it is?"Joyce Byers murmured to the party.
"What if it's the demogorgon? We're in shit if it's the demogorgon." Scott Clarke cautioned, looking to Joyce.
"I doubt it's the demogorgon" Murray Bauman rolled his eyes, an aura of anticipation clogging his tone.
Jim sat straight, looking at his campaign.Suddenly, he slammed six winged miniatures onto the map, creating a ripple of surprise in the group.
"An army of Troglodytes charges into the chamber!Their tails drum the floor. Boom!Boom!Boom!"
Scott and Murray exchanged glances before turning back to the map.James looked behind him in surprise, his eyes grew wide as he turned back to the group.
"Wait.. . do you hear that?Boom!Boom!BOOM!That sound.. . it didn't come from the Troglodytes. No.It came from something else.. ."He proclaimed lowering in his seat once more.He slams a two-headed miniature down.
"THE DEMOGORGON!"He shouts, causing a series of groans to emit through the basement.
"Shit.. .SHIT" Scott covered his eyes with his hands and threw his head back.
"Joyce, your action."James demanded, making the girl stammer out with stress.
"I- I don't know" she stammered, looking around.
"Cast fireball!" Murray shouted out.
"I'd have to roll thirteen or higher-"
"Too risky.Cast a protection spell," Scott interjected.
