"Hmm, it must be nice to have many Pokémon friends like Deoxys does," Arndolfr commented as the three of them walked towards the other end of the tunnel that ran through Mount Moon. "Too bad he needed to leave early. I would have wanted to ask him more things."

"I think we need to give Deoxys a break," said Seymour. "He looked pretty wiped out from making all the mess vanish just like that. I'll have another chance to talk to Deoxys again, and together, we shall protect the Clefairy and their Moon Stone from crooks like those from earlier."

"Speaking of those crooks, I believe they weren't wearing the hooded uniforms that Team Plasma were wearing, were they?" Lucy asked.

"No, they weren't, which means that they're Team Rocket," Arndolfr answered. "It's gotta be. Prof. Oak warned me about them before I started travelling."

"I've also heard of Team Rocket. The Kanto Region is supposed to be their home base so most of their nefarious deeds are done mostly in this region," Seymour added.

After a few more minutes of walking, they finally reached the exit from Mount Moon.

"Oh right, I just remembered something," Arndolfr chimed and then opened his bag and took out the Moon Stone he bought from Flint back in Pewter City. "Here, I think you should have it. It's a Moon Stone. I don't really need it, but I don't want to let this item go to waste."

Seymour's eyes brightened when he received the Moon Stone from Arndolfr. "Really, I must thank you for this, Dolph! The Clefairy will love this." He then fumbled in his pocket and took out what looked like a large green-colored gem. "In return, I'll give you this Emerald. I was searching for more Moonstones inside Mount Moon the other day and I found this Emerald when I tried digging through a wall. I tried to use it in many ways, but it just won't work. I think you'll find some use for it, though."

Arndolfr looked at the Emerald and tried to think of what it is for aside from being sold for a very high price, but there was nothing he could remember from his lessons from Trainers' School to give him a clue for guessing what it is for. Nevertheless, he put it inside his bag and said, "Thanks, Mr. Seymour, sir. We shall be going to Cerulean City now. I believe this won't be the last time we'll meet."

"Ah, but how can you say that, Dolph?" asked Seymour jokingly. "I may manage to go to space with the Clefairy sooner than you expect, so you may not find me here in Mount Moon on your return."

"Who knows?" Arndolfr merely chuckled. "Maybe I'll be in space to meet you when you get there."

All three of them laughed at this.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now," Lucy said.

"Please take care, Mr. Seymour, sir," Arndolfr bid Seymour farewell. "And please tell the space Pokémon we said 'Hi!'"

"Will do, Dolph and Lucy!" Seymour called as he waved his hand while the two walked away. "I'll never forget you two!"

When Seymour was finally out of sight, Arndolfr and Lucy walked a few more steps before they came across a signboard bearing the words "Cerulean City" and an arrow that pointed to the direction where the path led to.

"Oh, look, someone's written on it," Arndolfr said as he noticed some small handwriting on the lower right-hand side of the signboard.

Both of them looked closer to the small handwriting. It read, 'Gary was here. Ash is a loser.'

"Really?" Arndolfr muttered disapprovingly. "Seriously, he needs to take making fun of others in moderation."

"Dolph, do you have a pen?" Lucy asked.
