Chapter 1:

Well, I'm just as confused as I'm sure you'll be & I really just want to clear it all up by starting from the beginning. I'll try to make it short, sweet, & to the point to get caught up.

I'm Hannah, 18 years young. My Dad went to Jamaica on an "adults only" trip in 2012 when I was 14. When he got back he said our next trip would be to Scotland. I was ecstatic!!!! So, as you could assume, it took a while to save up the money to go. It was the summer of 2016, I would be going back to school in August, as a senior in high school. Wow. I couldn't believe I had made it that far.

Anywhoo, Dad came home from work on June 22nd & told me & Sarah the news of the trip. We were going to fly to Europe & when we landed we would be in Paris for a night to catch a glimpse at the Eiffel Tower then off on a cruise ship we would go, to Scotland!!!

Three long, hot, painful weeks went by & finally it was July 13th today was THE day!!! We had everything packed & ready. The ride to the airport felt like it was 9 hours long. Even though it was only about 2 from Piketon to Columbus. This was it. I couldn't believe it. The plane ride was the most excruciating thing I've ever been put through in my entire life. I'd rather have been in Algebra. That's bad.

Paris was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Or so I thought at the time. A small town girl who was used to mud & boots had no place here. It was miraculous. The Eiffel Tower was indescribable at night. It was just, gorgeous.

That night went by so quick. I'll remember it forever. I guess all the glamor got to me & I didn't even really realize what was happening. I was pretty much like that the whole trip. I wasn't my normal strict, shy self. I guess when you're a million miles away from anyone you know you get kind of adventurous.

We woke up at about 6:30 the next morning. I was exhausted, even though I didn't realize it like I said, no clue. We had a rental car. Seeing my Dad ,of all people drive in Paris was pretttty hilarious. I couldn't breath for laughing so hard!! He has a bit of road rage so that put a smile on my face, considering the time.

We arrived at the port & I got a aboard the biggest boat I'd ever seen. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was equipped with waterside, hot tub, pool, spa, teen club, & the most beautiful sky deck ever. I'd found my reading spot for the week! We unpacked our stuff in spectacular room C203.

I was waiting for the evacuation drill while poor Sarah on the other hand was clueless as to what was about to happen. Dad & I thought it'd be funnier if we didn't tell her. With her being my younger sister, I got a kick out of teasing Sarah. I'd rather not bore you to death by the drill process. Needless to say, we got her pretty good.

I went back to the room changed into shorts & a cami, grabbed my Kindle, & decided to check things out. Mind you, adventurous & not one bit shy. Which surprised me more than anyone. I had downloaded, & started, a new Nicholas Sparks novel on the flight over. It had been great so far. I think the man could write about using the bathroom & I would be entertained. He had been my favorite author since I fell in love with reading.

I made my way to the sky deck after scoping things out. I could already tell, this would be the best week of my life. I found a lounge chair got all tanning-oiled-up & decided to kick back & relax. I read about 4 chapters of my book & conked out at about 2:30.

I woke up at 5:30 & dinner was at 6:00!! I had slept THREE HOURS!! I rounded the corner & ran smack dab into someone. "I-I-I' m so sorry!!!!" I blurted out before realizing I was staring at a pair of blue eyes I had only seen on the posters in my sister's room. I was standing in the arms of Niall Horan.
