-Kennedy's POV-

"Hannah, truth or dare?" I asked after a while of playing.

"Truth!" She answered. Evan gave me his "told-you-so" look from across the circle we were in. Evan was directly across from me & starting with him our circle went Evan, Brice, Ruthie, Morgan, Kaylee, Me, Hannah, Garrett Kenny, & Molly.

"Is it true..... That...." I really didn't want to do this to her but it was wigging me out.

"That you're secretly dating Garrett!!!!!" Evan blurted out. That little jerk! It was my question!! Hannah made a face like it was a crazy question. I could tell she was a nervous wreck though. She looked over at Garrett, who was glaring at Evan, who was trying to read my facial expression. Ruthie laughed but when no one else did she realized it was serious. The rest of the group was just confused. Hannah just sat there. She looked at Evan, then me, then Garrett & their eyes met. I could tell just by the way he looked at her. There was something there. She nodded at him as if to say "go ahead".

"You guys probably know I've liked Hannah for awhile now..." Garrett said. Everyone had the "no-duh" response. "We haven't even went on a date or anything thing so I don't think you could call it 'dating' but I mean we-"

"Spit it out!! Just tell us!" Evan ordered.

"Gosh! Give me a second! I finally got up the guts to tell her & so we've been kinda thinking about the idea of it but, nothing has happened really." Garrett explained.

"Except for you two kissing...." Evan mumbled.

"Evan!!!" I exclaimed.

"Kissing?!?!?" Kaylee butted in.

"What?!? It's TRUTH or dare!!" Evan argued.

"You don't have t-" I tried to say before Garrett cut me off.

"Yes, we kissed. Guys, we're seniors in high school. Not middle schoolers." Garrett defended.

"But you guys are Garrett & Hannah!!!!" Morgan said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Garrett asked.

"We've been waiting for this to happen for years." Molly put in. Hannah smiled.

"It's been forever." Ruthie said.

"They aren't kidding." Brice said backing them up.

"Is this how everyone feels?" Hannah asked. It was the first thing she'd said besides "truth" since it was her turn.

"Yeah."

"Of course!"

"Why wouldn't we?!"

"Duh."

"How didn't you guys see it?!?" Kenny asked.

"What?!?!?" Hannah asked.

"I was just trying to scare you earlier Hannah. Evan told me what was going on. And he wanted more 'proof'." Kenny explained. Hannah just rolled her eyes & shook her head.

"Why didn't you guys say anything?" She asked.

"What were we going to say? 'You two have to date because we all think you should.'???" Ruthie said.

"Well, I guess I was the only one who didn't know about this whole "Garrett & Hannah" thing." Hannah said laughing.

"I didn't know, but I wanted it to happen." Garrett said grabbing Hannah's hand. She smiled at him. He looked like it was all he could do not to kiss her.

"Just kiss her!!!!" Morgan blurted out.

They both laughed. Garrett got closer & closer & finally kissed her. It was gentle & sweet. It was perfect. It was a moment that described them I thought.

-Hannah's POV-

Everyone applauded & I looked down to the floor & blushed. I couldn't believe everyone had felt like this for so long.

"I just don't want you guys to think that I'm some sort of player type girl." I explained.

"We couldn't even if we wanted to just based on that sentence." Brice said. We all laughed.

Garrett wrapped his arm around me & scooted closer to me. I could feel my face getting bright red.

"Hannah. It's fine. Really." Molly said.

"You're red as a tomato!" Kaylee added.

"I can't help it you guys are embarrassing me putting me on the spot like this!" I said laughing.

"I can't believe it!! Finally!! You guys are finally a couple!!!" Ruthie squealed.

"I don't understand what the big deal is guys?" Garrett said.

"Me either?" I said backing him up.

"Kennedy?" Evan seemed to encourage her to explain.

"Ugh. Okay.... You see Hannah, we all are really close to both Garrett & Hannah. Garrett has had a crush on- wait, more like loved, Hannah since Jr. High. We all could tell & we've really wanted you two to get together since then, but Hannah always had a boyfriend or was occupied with something else & Garrett has always been fooling himself by having a girlfriend or was occupying his time. We're your friends & we just can't think of two people that could be any better together... Don't you see how he looks at you Hannah? It's like THE look. You are so important to him. Garrett, don't you see how much you've helped her? Don't you see how much she needs you? You guys have been best friends since Hannah moved here. You two are just....." Kennedy was stumbling for words.

"Perfect." Morgan finished for Kennedy.

I pulled my shirt sleeves over my knuckles. I looked up at Garrett. He looked down at me. We were sitting up against the couch but on the floor. His arm was around me. I put my hand on his chest.
