Chapter 12:

A week had passed since the party & I hadn't heard a word from Garrett. He avoided me at school & wouldn't answer my texts.

The boys were all staying at a hotel near by. I felt bad for them but I am not going to stay together while we're only dating. I have morals, unlike most girls my age. So, Niall would wait for me to get off school & we tried to spend every minute together that we could.

"Aww, that was so sweet of him!!" I exclaimed at the story of Liam's most recent sweet action.

"I know!! I couldn't believe it either!!" Kennedy responded.

"Shh.. Listen?"

"What?"

"What are Niall & Liam laughing about in there?"

"I don't know.. Let's go see." Kennedy suggested standing up. Liam & Niall were in the office & were supposed to be grabbing a notebook so we could play a game but, they seemed to have gotten sidetracked.

"What are you two doing?" I said laughing as I entered the room.

"We found some really juicy stuff!" Niall said too excitedly. Then he held up a baby picture of me & Kennedy.

"What!!!! No fair!!" Kennedy protested.

"Yes! Way fair!" Liam added coming over to put his arms around Kennedy's waist & kiss her. I was so glad for them! Things seemed to be going great between them. We all couldn't be happier with things.

Everything was perfect. Except, you know. Niall & the boys would be leaving in two days. Two days. Two days & he would be headed home. Two. Days. Ugh. I hated just the though of it. It worried me sick, him constantly flying. I was just paranoid because of the dream I had while we were on the boat. Or I at least told myself that.

"Hey, how about we ditch the game & go see a movie?" Liam suggested.

"Yeah, it could be a good subtle way to break you guys into the fans?" Niall said, backing him up & coming over to me to grab me around the waist, my guess trying to persuade me.

"Sure!! I'd love to!!!" Kennedy said excitedly.

"Totally!!! I wasn't that excited about the game. Plus, I've been dying to see that new movie about the couple who gets kidnapped while they're on vacation!" I said.

"Ooo!!!! Yeah!!! I heard that was a really good date movie! For both the guy & girl!!!" Kennedy said.

"Well, we have a plan!" Liam said bending down to kiss Kennedy then going out of the room to get his keys.

"I'm going to go pee!" Kennedy announced.

"Thanks for sharing!" I teased her.

"Anytime!" she joked back.

"What's wrong Babe?" Niall asked seeing the tension in my face.

"Nothing. Just thinking about what we could do to make tomorrow special...."

"As long as we're together, it will be. Don't worry. I'm sure we'll find something." he assured.

"I know, I just want to make it special for you. For us.."

"You've already made it special for me!! The past two weeks have been the best!! Ever!! Man, what is it with us & two week increments?"

"I know! I've noticed that! Funny, huh? I just, I don't know..... I'm worried.... I keep putting it off & putting it off but, but now we're so close & I'm so, so, scared. I don't want to loose you, for even longer this time. It'll be Christmas before I see you!!!"
