Trevor picked up the delicate frame and took in their mother's appearance in this photo. "This must be when she was in her youth." Trevor said. Dom nodded while his eyes traveled to the woman sitting next to their mother clutching a book and smiling brightly in what seemed to be her best friend.

"That cottage..." Dom's thoughts drifted to the cozy cottage they and their father spend Christmas in. Their father said that mom and her best friend built it in their college days together. "So that's the Auntie Bri mom was always talking about."

The brothers placed the photograph down carefully and went to check on Diana. "I'll get Yiru from the car. The pet shop called the landline and said that Yiru's been finely pampered like a prince but his momma won't pick up." "So that's why you suddenly disappeared. BOI- I could've used yer help! Diana resisted like an MMA fighter! GAWD DAYUM-If she wasn't a music graduate she'd be a part of the WWE." Dom complained. "Sorry, sorry! Fine! I'll buy you Krispy Kreme later." Trevor compensated. "One dozen? Assorted to my favorite flavors? And a coffee?" "Yes, yes now lemme get Yiru before he miraculously sings cuz we've been listening to 'Touch You' the whole ride back." Dominique stood there petrified and felt sympathy for the poor innocent cutie.

He carefully opened the door and peeked inside to see Diana's figure sleeping peacefully. He recalled the occurrence earlier and wondered 'What if my idiot brother didn't forget his laptop?'. Pushing back those horrible thoughts, Dominique tip-toed towards the las and tucked the stray strands of her hair behind her ear. The enamored man was rudely interrupted when Yiru barged into the room to check on his mom. Trevor was leaning against the door frame teasingly smirking at his younger brother, wiggling his bushy ass eyebrows that could compete against Erwin's up and down. Dom, not surprisingly, scoffed then rolled his eyes. "You. Saw. Nothing." he threatened. But who was he kidding? Only the dumbass standing a few steps from him had the courage to test his patience. "Oh but good sir- I'm sure! I cannot be mistaken that I just witnessed an action of pure affection." "Will you just shut up for once and do something else rather than annoy me like breathing?"

Trevor raised his arms in a surrendering motion. "Would cleaning the mess the love of your life created in the music room suffice, your grace?" Now bowing as if he was the duke of weaseltown, Trevor raised his big ass head to see the steel-like fist of his 'overly sweet' brother ready to use him as a substitute for their punching bag. "OW!" Trevor cried. "You clean that shit until it's spotless you hear me? I don't want to see a speck of dust anywhere. Check and scrub every nook and cranny. EVERY inch of the room. Understood, peasant? " The poor man nodded in defeat. It may seem crazy but he was certain that he saw an irk mark on Dom's head and that he sort of took the shape of Captain midget spinner- ESTE The man, the myth, the legend, Humanity's strongest- Captain Levi.

Dominique closed the door, as quietly as possible to let Diana rest some more. Yes, he turned the ac on. Yes, he tucked her in. Yes, Yiru looked at him and if Yiru could talk he would say "Sir Dom you are the standard. You have my blessing." When they came downstairs to clean, Aunt Aria entered the door like she was in a musical, letting go of her inner Elsa. See what I did there? "Is she alright? Is Diana ok? " She asked worriedly. "Yes, she's fine. Thankfully Dom had the strength of Hercules and knocked the door from its hinges but now I have to clean it up." He looked in his brother's direction. "Why is it always the older brother who has to clean up their mess?" Auntie Aria sighed in relief. "I can just get her another door. I'm just glad that she's safe. Thank you boys." The middle aged woman showed her gratitude by giving them a rib-breaking hug and handing them a box of sandwiches. "You must be hungry from all that happened. I thought she got over it but I guess even her own aunt doesn't know her well enough." She chuckled bitterly.

"Auntie Aria?" Dom called her attention and handed her the photograph from earlier. "Is this Brianna Caprice?" "Yes, that's my sister. She died in a car accident three years ago but I bet you know of that already. Oh and this is her best friend, Lili. They did many things together." The brothers listened attentively. "She taught Lili how to play the piano and Lili taught her how to do pottery. I remember the day when Bri came home covered in clay. She said that they made a bowl for each other to place important things in because they were so forgetful. Oh how I miss the times. Hehehe I'm talking as if I'm an elderly woman already. "

After a few hours of cleaning up they heard shuffling from upstairs and Yiru barking. They ran up immediately and opened Diana's door. The girl was sitting on her bed petting Yiru's soft fur "Hey buddy. You look so handsome today. Did you miss mommy? " Yiru licked her hand as a reply for 'yes' "Diana!" Aunt Aria rushed to her side and hugged her tightly never wanting to let go "The boys told me what happened. What would I do if I lost you? I'd never forgive myself darling." She said, tears welling in her eyes. "I'm sorry auntie. My emotions just took over me. It won't happen again. I promise." The sweet girl vowed, caressing the back of her aunt's hand against her cheek. *Sniff sniff* The girls looked over to the chaotic duo and found Trevor ugly crying while Dom handed him a handkerchief. "The wholesomeness is too much for my heart. Dom, my trusted brethren. Save me, I think I'm having a heart attack." he performed a little trust fall but stumbled to the ground when Dom moved a bit to the side making all of them laugh. "Why must you hurt me in such a way! I trusted you! How dare you betray your brother like this!" "How long has he been acting like this?" Diana asked. "He's been dramatic since this morning" "Oh? I'm surprised you haven't thrown him to Pluto." "AH! They're back! The duo who does nothing but tease me is back! Auntie! Save me from this misery and pain! I do not deserve such treatment!"

Auntie Aria just laughed as she watched Trevor go crazy, go stupid. "Sweetheart. We can just stay here and rest if you want. We can just go to the memorial some other time." "No. Let's go. I'm okay now and mom would want me to be strong." "Yeah. That would help you ease even just a tinge of the pain." Dom said "Well if you guys are ready I can start the car and we can toodaloo." Trevor, now standing up straight like a knight on guard offered. "Yeah, let's do that." Diana assured them.

They arrived at the memorial and headed for her mom's grave. "This is where we buried mom too." "Oh yes. Now that I remember, Bri said that she wants to be buried beside her best friend. She said that right after she got home from Lili's funeral." Aunt Aria shared. "So the Lilibeth Apollo beside mom is your mother?" "Well this is our mom. And that tomb has Brianna Caprice carved on it so I guess that answers all our questions." Dom concluded. "Huh, so it wasn't a coincidence." Trevor murmured but

Auntie heard it. "Nope." She said popping the p. "It was all decided by Bri. But it is a great coincidence that Diana ended up as your neighbor." "Hmmmmm. Gee, I wonder." Trevor trailed off, staring at his brother offering his hand to help Diana stand up and the lady accepting it with a wide grin spreading on her lips. "I think it was also decided by fate, auntie."
