At daybreak, the sun shined through the blinds and into my eyes. I felt peaceful wrapped in Angelo's arms. Maybe I should give him a chance, I thought to myself. A chance of what exactly, I wasn't all too sure. I wiggled my body out his arms and into the bathroom. Deciding a cold shower would be great. It's been a month since our doctors appointment and today is the day we'll do testing to see if I'm pregnant. Truthfully I've already secretly taken a pregnancy test and it's positive. I'm excited for Angelo but I didn't want to tell him without knowing for sure.

After showering I changed into a olive green T-shirt dress with a white chunky healed strapped sandals. I then placed my hair in a bun and went back to the room. I didn't see Angelo anywhere and I wondered where he was. He'll probably be back soon I thought to myself as I went to the kitchen. As I walked down the stairs, I heard whispers in the kitchen. I wanted to barge into the kitchen but I held my composure as I listened to the voices in the kitchen.

" When are you going to tell her? Will you pretend to be a pathetic human forever" The voice of a woman spat out.

"Keep your voice down Sarah or I swear you'll regret it. Beta or not" Angelo whisper yelled at Sarah.

" What can she give you that I can't huh?" Sarah questioned.

" She's my mate" Angelo responded calmly.

I decided that I waited long enough behind the kitchen walls. Imagine if I got caught or someone exited the kitchen. I fixed my clothes and demeanor pretending to not hear anything. Before I could even walk off a voice whispered in my ears.

"It's wrong to ease drop little one"

I wasn't sure whose voice this was but it was a rugged voice and I almost screamed out of fear but a hand covered my mouth. Instantly I bite this creep hands and turned to face the man behind me. He was tall dark brown hair, green eyes, and he had a stubble bread. I didn't recognize him but I couldn't cause a scene; Angelo would then know I'm spying on him. Which I wasn't, it was just an accident.

"Who are you" I demanded hot tempered.

"Ian" He responded with a smirk

"Why are you here" I asked him curiously

Just as he was about to respond Angelo and Sarah exited the kitchen. I didn't even get to hear the rest of what they were saying. Damn it! Angelo seemed shocked to see Ian and I. I kept a cool face as if I was oblivious that he and Sarah were in the kitchen.

" Angelo is my brother" Ian replied with yet another smirk.

" Why are you always smirking" I asked freely and unafraid what Ian might think of me.

" Well spy, I'm not the one who is always.." Ian started to say before I ran and placed my hands over his mouth. How could he do this to me, this little shithead! We were both spying and now he's trying to throw me underneath the bus. I'm not sure why but I feel drawn to Ian in a brotherly way. He bite my hand and I instantly pulled them out of his filthy mouth. He laughed as I sulked to myself.

" I see you've met my annoying little brother" Angelo declared as he grabbed my hand and inspected it. He then raised one eyebrow at Ian as if he was curious about something. Ian laughed and raised both his hands as if to say I started it.

" She started it" Ian said with puppy dog eyes whilst pointing at me. I knew he would say that, I just knew it!

" No asshole you were the one who" Before I could finish my sentence I remembered why he placed his hands over my mouth and I instantly stopped talking.

"What" Ian teased

" Nothing" I spat out in frustration, he's so annoying.

" I see that, you two are getting along but my wife and I have to go" Angelo declared and seemed lightly pissed off. I'm unsure why but as he lead me to the door; I gave Ian a little smile to which he showed me the middle finger. I rolled my eyes at his childish antics and sat inside of Angelo's car.

The ride to the office was pretty silent and Angelo seemed nervous for some reason. The only time I've ever seen him nervous was on our wedding day.

"Are you ok?"I asked as we walked into the building.

" Yes I just want to hear good news, I know you are pregnant like I feel like you are but I just want to know the baby is ok" Angelo answered as he intertwined our fingers together.

We waited for the doctor to arrive with our results. I felt excited and nervous at the same time. I know there's a high chance that I am pregnant but I also know that after giving birth my contract will be over. Angelo seemed a nervous wreck as his nails dug into my skin.

" Ok I have the results, you guys are pregnant" The Doctor screamed with excitement.

Angelo instantly got up and spun me around. He was so excited that he kissed me, when our lips touched there was a spark and I felt warm all over. We haven't been intimate since the day he "marked" me but it felt amazing. He seemed shocked that he kissed me and placed my feet into the ground.

" Ok when can my wife and I find out the gender" Angelo asked enthusiastically.

" In two to four weeks" Dr. Reed responded as she logged some information into her computer.

" Ok" Angelo said grabbing my hands and whisking me away from the clinic. I'm not sure exactly why he's pulling me away and why he's moving so fast. I just decided to follow his lead without protest. As soon as we stepped outside, he pulled me into a huge hug while kissing me once more.

"We're having a baby" Angelo screamed at the top of his lungs. Im exited myself but it's so sentimental to see him this happy. A smile plastered on both of our faces as we walked to his car.

" We're having a son or maybe a daughter. My little princess will be so spoiled" Angelo gushed and it's almost as though he forgot that I am leaving after giving birth. I decided not to spoil the mood.

There was a rattle in the bushes that stopped Angelo in his cute rant. At first it was small but the rattles became louder as whatever is in the woods approached us. My heart felt as though it would jump out of my chest and I tried to stay calm although I was scared. A wolf emerged out of the woods and Angelo grabbed unto my hands. Gently guiding me to his car, what the actually fuck! There's wolves in the woods. He opened my car door before the wolf launched itself  at us. Then he walked towards the huge ass black wolf. I rolled down my windows and yelled.

" Are you dumb, get in the car and drive!"

   Right before my eyes the most creepiest, scariest, and downright most unbelievable to thing happened. Angelo shifted into a wolf a fucking wolf. I couldn't believe my eyes, this man is a demon!! Locking the car doors, I searched for the keys to the car and realized it was on the drivers seat. I grabbed the keys and placed them into the ignition. Then I speed off.

    Call me crazy but that shit, him turning into a wolf. Maybe some would say I'm not loyal because I should have stayed with him. As far as I see it, it's a wolf and he's a wolf what's the worst that can happen? I just I can't think straight right now, maybe I'm dreaming! If he's a damn wolf I thought to myself as I placed my hands on my stomach. Does that mean the thing inside of me isn't even human?
