Future Memories

Your roses on our grave was your offerings to my feelings
Like ivy around my heart, it kept growing only to break it in pieces
And the only permanent thing of us was temporariness
This love was only the tick of time where it was too young to be dead
And we fell for each other like that golden hazy sunset
Fading lights and eclipsing rays before it all blacked out to an end

My silent conversations with blank pieces of pages
Tattooing lessons through raining tears of rages
What was once an artistic masterpiece is now a blank poetical canvas
Canvas of my feelings, you shred it into a collaged mess
I was the moon and he accentuated my shininess
Not because he was the light but, he was actually the darkness

And what helped me the most was the help I didn't get
Resentment does wonders for let go's when boundaries can't
Faithful lovers end up illusionists before reality even sets in
Rendezvous dates and silent meetings, before it even begin
With your saddest music all over my happiest poetical lyrics
Read between my poetic love when it was supposed to be felt

He was the flames of paradise, and I was the drizzle of hell
Mismatched like the incompatibility of a love spell
This darkness shining bright, blinding me from all your lies and tells
This was a feeling of feelings to not feel anything else
If the destiny to every moment was meant to be an end
Then this love was a future memory at every taken step
