40. Massacre of Old Satan Faction

3RD PERSON POV

Izuku: WHAT?!

Sirzechs: *phone* Rias and her entire peerage are in critical condition. However the numerous operations have been successful and they're healing quickly.

Izuku: WHAT HAPPENED?!

Sirzechs: It's.....best if you see it for yourself.

Izuku hangs up the phone immediately and teleports away with his portal.

Later

Rias: *weak smile* I-Izuku.....you're here.....

Arriving at the underworld hospital he barges into a room consisting of Rias and her entire peerage.....although they all managed to survive. Numerous deep cuts and stabs aligned all their bodies that are covered in bandages. Koneko had both her arms in a cast, as the bones were shattered while her ears had deep cuts on them along with a missing eye. Akeno had thousands of cuts as if she was rolling in barbed wire. Xenovia and Irina all were gasping for air once in a while, their throats nearly crushed and their hands mangled beyond imagination. Kiba had stitches all over his entire limbs as three were nearly severed. Gasper was the luckiest, his injuries weren't as near-fatal as the others yet he was completely wrapped in bandages not able to move from his spine cracked. Asia's ribs and legs were shattered beyond recognition. Rias had the worst however. She was disemboweled and they had to put her organs back in, all the bones in her body were shattered and broken, she had been stabbed nearly everywhere, and she was practically in pain even after the life-threatening operation. At least her face and hair were intact and still recognizable apart from her broken noise and bruised jaw.

Izuku: *clench* Y-Yeah I did....I-I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you all...

Koneko: I-It's fine Izuku..

Akeno: W-We don't blame you for this.

Izuku: What.....happened?

Kiba: I-it was so fast. W-We couldn't react but i-it was as if we were attacked by devils.

Izuku: But devils don't.......rouge devils?

Sirzechs: I'm afraid so....

He turns to find Sirzechs walking into the room.

Sirzechs: My sister and her peerage along with hundreds of other devils were attacked by the Old Satan Faction. Unfortunately they were the only survivors while the others were exterminated without mercy-

Izuku: Where.......are they?

Sirzechs: *sigh* With all due respect we can't have you barging into their base. They're quite powerful

Izuku: Too much huh.....tell me where they are.

Sirzechs: And I'm guessing there's no convince you to not go right?

Izuku: No.

Sirzechs: They want to meet tomorrow so-

Izuku: Give me the place and coordinates now.

Seeing no way to convince him after a few more tries, Sirzechs tells and hands Izuku the coordinates of where they are.

Sirzechs: This place has a lot of defensive barriers preven-

Izuku: Doesn't matter. I'll be back in..........6 hours.

He opens a portal but before crossing through he walks to Rias's hospital bed, kissing her forehead as she relaxes to his touch.
