I would just like to start off by saying that I grew up in a European style home and lifestyle. The extent of my knowledge surrounding the country, culture and traditions of Japan is purely taken from anime and the very little information I have collected from past classes. I tried to include as many "references" to the culture, especially in the house, as I could manage without making things up. I did refer to my own European home for a few of the things I was unaware of. Any ignorant statements/references I have used are unintentional and I would appreciate it very much if you could point out any mistakes I have made.
I also wanted to state that I have included a character you haven't heard of before. I character of my own making, named Seijin. For a quick brief, Seijin is a traumatised, she/they, omniromantic asexual, dark haired, small, tough, quick witted woman who was in love with Mikey since a young age (Mikey is aro/ace in this, as that is what I head canon him as. Also, Mikey was never aware of Seijins feelings and he is the only person Seijin has ever felt romantic attraction to). They are smart and funny and one of Chifuyus best friends. She lives with Kazutora and can be a bitch at times, but everyone loves her nonetheless. I hope you like them and enjoy my story, because I have been working on this for nearly a year :D
One last thing, there will mentions of strong topics that may be triggering for some people or may cause discomfort. These include: Alcohol use, vomiting, miscarriage, cigarettes, strong sexual references, PTSD and other things that don't presently come to mind. I will include a warning at the beginning of the chapters that these are included in and will bold the parts of the story where they appear, so everyone can enjoy the story in the same way.
