The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. It was a new moon, the sky was black tranquility married to the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity; some stars were bright and near while some were dull and far. The sounds of crowds, chatter of pedestrians, vehicles honking and occasionally barking of faraway dogs broke the silence of the night.

After not seeing each other for a week, Jaxx misses his darling to death. Light was feeling the same too.
