"I bought you a gift." Luca says one day, when they're sitting on the couch, some show on in the background as they lean against each other.

"Yeah?" Light lifts his head up from where it rests on Luca's chest. "Does it have something to do with... last time?"

"Yes, it does." And so Light's not surprised when Luca pulls out a collar and leash, but it's overwhelming all the same. Incredibly exciting, and a bit embarrassing. "You like it?" The collar and leash are both leather, a dyed lavender color. But the most exciting part are the tags on the collar. Engraved on one, the word 'slave'. And the other reads 'Property of Luca'. "I thought you would. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's have a chat, okay?"

"For sure." He tries to reel himself back in. "I had a really good time last time. It was... really good. I like it when you tell me what to do."

Luca smiles at him. "Seems like you really liked the slave thing, too."

"I did. It felt good. I liked being... owned, I guess?" Light remembers how awkward they used to be about sex. Thankfully that's over now.

"Good. I'm glad you liked it, honey. Is there anything new you want me to try this time?" And the thoughts that rush through his mind can only be described as sinful.

Where to start? "I think I might like it if you were mean to me. Like, uh, making fun of me and all that."

Luca hums, thinking it over. "I'll try it, but I'm going to be careful with it. And I'll only tease you about sex, I don't want to cause you any problems."

Light nods. "Sounds good. Um, I like kneeling, more of that would be nice."

"Huh, interesting. What do you like about it?"

A flush makes its way up to Light's face. "Just feels right. Like I should always be looking up at you."

Luca laughs in disbelief. "How did I end up with such a perfect sub?" Light grins. "Anything else, darling?"

"If I do something wrong, I want you to punish me." He admits, feeling bold. The words hang in the air for a moment, Luca clearly thinking about it. "It's okay if you don't want to."

Luca shakes his head. "It's not that." He says, and then remains quiet for a bit longer. "I... I don't want to make you feel like you're less than me. Because even though we play around with power dynamics, I do want you to know that we are equals. You're allowed to disobey me, my word isn't gospel, you know? And, I know that you enjoy obeying, but you also have this desire to be punished. I guess I'd just like to know why."

"I think the pain aspect of it is most of it, but there's also a certain level of humiliation that comes with being punished."

That seems to relax Luca. "Okay. Good. Alright. We'll try it, if you'd like to disobey something I tell you to do. Our safe words are there for a reason. Um, may I have a hug?"

"Of course." And as they embrace, Luca seems to melt into Light. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. I just worry about you. Kink is hard sometimes." Luca mutters into their shoulder.

"In more ways than one." And that seems to break the tension, getting a laugh out of Luca.

They break apart, and Luca picks up the collar, "Alright, love, once I collar you, the scene starts. You're going to be my slave, my pet. And I'll be your Master once again. Understand?" Light nods. The collar is placed around his neck, the weight feeling nothing short of perfect. "There you are. Good slave. Now, do you think you deserve to be on the furniture?"
