That night after we got dressed out of our wet clothes, had a warm and comforting cup of tea and/or hot chocolate, I went to knock on Bell's door. Skrael had already shown us where her room was during the tour...well...sort of tour. I hesitated a little and knocked anyway. Bellroc answer. Her hair was wet, and she only peeked her head out of the door.

"Hisirdoux? What brings you here?"

"I wanted to ask you about something I saw on the boat. I figured that Phoenix needed a break, Nari's asleep, and Skrael wants nothing to do with me."

Bell raised an eyebrow.

"Alright, he's with Phoenix. The two are back to being a couple, and I don't want to disturb them."

"Understandable. Wait, one second, I'm going to get dressed."

I stood outside the door for a bit. Bellroc finally left the room dressed in a long red dress with gold stripes. She wore a large golden bib necklace that wrapped around her entire neck and ended at her bust around her waist. It appeared to be a part of the dress. She also wore chandelier earrings. The ring around the sleeves was also golden. She wore her hair in a braided bun with a golden hair cuff.

"Wow, mom, you look..."

She smiled and pulled a tuft of hair behind her ear.

"I haven't worn this outfit in centuries," she said. "I got rid of it once Merlin joined Camelot's council."

"I don't think you should've," I said, staring. "I mean, it's nice. It's a very pretty dress."

"Come, what were you talking with me about?" she asked. "We can go to your room."

I sat on the bed and lay down.

"What's bothering you?"

"Before we fell in the water..." I said. "I saw something. In the sky, there was a black sun."

"A black sun?"

"Mhmm. Or maybe it was a black moon, I don't know. It was a celestial object in the sky, and it was black as night. I figured you might know what it was. Maybe it was an omen of something."

"I've never seen or heard of something like that before," Bell said. I had a slight hunch that she was lying. "Well, did it scare you?"

"A little. I tried to get a good look at it, but I fell in."

"Well, you're safe now."

She gave me a hug. I felt warmer. Maybe it was because she was a demigod of fire, or maybe that's what hugs from mothers felt like. Warm, comforting, like everything bad in the world would drift away. I didn't ever want to separate from her again.

BELLROC POV:

As soon as I left the room, closing the door, I noticed Skrael just leaving Phoenix's door.

"Skrael..." I said, quickly, grabbing his arm and dragging him into his room.

"Hey!" He said, pulling away and shocking me.

"I'm not here to fight right now. Douxie said he saw the Black Sun," I whisper-shouted.

"Wh-what? The Black Sun."

"Do you know any other Black Suns, Skrael?"

"No, of course not. Bellroc, if he's still around...do you have any idea what damage he could do?"

"He'd destroy the entire world and everything on it."

"On second thought, maybe we won't be the Guardians of Arcadia's biggest fears."

"Yeah, come here." I took his hand, this time gently, and led him to the door that had been locked, bolted with magic, and sealed off from any wandering eyes—including Hisirdoux's. I pressed my hand on the door, signifying fingerprint recognition. The door opened revealing the floating Genesis Seals trapped in a levitating prison. Magic swirled around.

"So that's where they are?"

"It hurts me to keep them away from Douxie."

"Yeah, and he's your son, and all that..."

"Grow some compassion, Skrael."

"Oh, yeah, and I'll feed it, give it sunlight, and make sure to water it every day."

"And some respect," I muttered.
