DOUXIE POV:

Camelot flew through the air. We were in the Central America area and flying somewhere over Puerto Rico or Cuba. Maybe we were lost. The connection started to die down when we crossed over the ocean. The people in the village looked like tiny ants. Ants who stared up at us, wondering why a giant medieval castle was doing, flying in the sky. If I were them, I'd be curious, too. The wind was humid and wet. Despite it being almost night, it was warm.

"Ah, yes, that's what you get when you travel to the Central Americas," Blinky said as Claire wiped sweat from her forehead.

"I want to get out of this armor," Toby complained, dragging himself on the floor.

"No, you can't. We have to be prepared," Jim said.

"Easy for you to say, you're not wearing tons and tons of metal on your back."

"Where is he?" Zoe asked, fanning herself.

"Krel, put up the tracker," Aja said.

Krel pulled up a holograph. The screen began blinking.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" The holograph suddenly disappeared. "There's no connection anywhere! This place sucks!"

"Now, now, let's not make ourselves more angry," Jim said. "I get you're all hot, I am, too. But we can't waste all our energy on ourselves."

Everyone nodded like they had to, but not like they agreed with anything Jim said. I rolled up my sleeves and stood outside, staring into the distance since the inside of Camelot was buzzing with heat every time somebody opened their mouth to complain. Zoe walked outside and kissed me on the cheek.

"What are you doing out here?"

"What's it look like?"

"Yeah, me too."

"I wonder how we're going to get them back. Aridam was a powerful wizard. We saw him!"

"What if we try to talk to them?"

"That'll be hard since Skrael's Titan is probably mae of wind, and we won't be able to stand on it."

"I wish we did Phoenix's Titan first," Toby said, walking outside and leaning his head on the railing. "That way it wouldn't be so hot."

"Nari's will probably be worse," Zoe said.

"UGH!"

"Let's just hope the Titan's don't move within the short time we have."

"And let's hope they don't make it to Arcadia," Zoe added.

Suddenly a thick fog began setting in front of us, making it cloudy and hard to see.

"Huh? I can't see a thing," Zoe said.

"Let me use the telescope," I said, looking down at the ground. I got a short glimpse of the ocean and the rest of the sky before the glass of the telescope began to fog up and freeze, limiting vision. "Nope, that's busted, too," I said.

We headed inside.

"Guys, it just got cooler!" Claire said, smiling.

"That might not be such a good thing," I said. "It's fogging up outside."

"Does it normally fog in Cuba?" Aja asked.

"How would I know? I've never been there," Claire said.

"Why don't you send a group of people down to check out the water levels via a shadow portal?" Aja suggested.

"Alright," Jim said. "But don't overexert yourself, Claire."
