Chapter 2

Hopes POV:

it all happened so fast, it was all so overwhelming.
all I can remember was passing out and now I'm in here in this glass box.

'LET ME OUT, WHERE ARE MY SISTERS?!' I screamed as I pounded on the glass. it was happening again. The tingling in my hands overpowering my body, my eyes glowing purple as they do.

I couldn't stop it

Natashas pov:

after getting them all into the compound we had to place Hope in one of our safe spots just to keep her safe due to her powers.
We put the girls in mine and Wanda s room and they quickly obliged and were soon asleep after a tiring day.I couldn't help but feel a motherly instinct towards them, I felt the urge to protect them all. Like a proper mother.

My thoughts were interrupted by a scream followed by a cry. Only guesses to where it came from. I notified the boys to head down to see what was going on. However I was shocked to see the glass shattered to the floor with purple mist everywhere.
But more importantly Hope in distress on the floor.
I instantly rushed over taking her into my embrace. Her sobs turning into cry's and arm's surprisingly finding their way around my neck clutching onto me like her life depended on it.

'd-don't leave u-us please' she croaked out

'I wouldn't dream of it' I responded as I picked her up

'we're going to have to run tests on her nat' bruce exclaimed

'I know but let me tell her, she's already in shock as it is' I replied

I headed upstairs to see the girls who were with Wanda.

'hi girls could I talk to Hope for a sec' I asked

Mia nodded her head with lily following.

'come on girls let's get some food in them bellies' Wanda giggled.

'what's up' Hope asked

'well erm, Bruce needed to run some tests just to check your powers' I asked carefully

'I-i erm I guess' Hope spoke

'everything okay , you know you can talk to me'

'I'm fine!' She snapped
'i-im sorry I didn't mean t-'

'no no it's okay I overstepped' I said
Hope immediately broke down to this.

'hey, hey what's wrong' I cooed

'it's just, we've been on our own for so long, I've tried my hardest to look out for them, give them everything but I couldn't, I couldn't do it and my powers I just want to get rid of them they've ruined my life since the day I was born!' She said angrily

'I get it I really do , I went through the same thing i had to look at after my little sister Yelena in a place called the red room, it was a horrible place and I felt helpless and I couldn't help her, it's hard but I could never imagine how hard it is to have powers but I can promise you that we are all here to help you' I spoke

'i-i just want to be loved again' she spoke between broken sobs

my heart ached for the poor girl. Her whole life she has been a role model for her two little sisters but no one for her to look up too. She been through worse than I can imagine, and that's why I know I'm going to do anything for these girls.

'you've got me honey, and I will always have you till the end' I promised

'you promise' she looked up with a tear stained face

'cross my heart, I'll keep you safe'
