Natashas POV:
the silence was so loud. It had been an hour since Wanda had been asleep but my body wasn't letting me, I laid awake staring at the ceiling just thinking about how much my life has changed in just a short amount of time, I'm potentially a mother to 3 beautiful girls and not to forget the most amazing girlfriend I could ever ask for. It was just perfect.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a heart wrenching scream from one of the girls, I instantly jumped up and ran out my bedroom door and followed the cries to Mia and Lily's room. I opened the door only to find Mia in distress and Lily huddled up in the bed looking petrified. 'Mia, baby it's okay it was just a dream my sweet girl' I tried to comfort her as I embraced her in a hug but I was received with a harsh push. 'NO NO GO AWAY I DONT WANT YOU I WANT MY MAMA,' Mia sobbed, that stung. I was speechless, I didn't know what to do. 'Mia I understand you sweet girl but I'm here and I'll be here till the end' I promised.
'NOOO I WANT MAMA I JUST WANT MAMA BACK' she sobbed uncontrollably, kicking and screaming.
'Natty what's happening to mia?' Lily stutters from the other side of the room, I rushed over to embrace her in a hug, 'it's okay baby, she's just upset, why don't you go into my room and sleep while I sort out your sister yeh?' I suggested. 'Okay natty' she yawned and slowly made her way out of the door.
I began to approach Mia again with caution as I didn't want to end up with a foot to my jaw. I couldn't help but feel for the girl, she's lost so much in her life and this must be so overwhelming. 'Mia, baby it's me it's natty, I'm gonna need you to calm down for me sweet girl or your gonna make yourself sick' I tried. 'HOPE I WANT HOPE' she screamed relentlessly, honestly I was desperate at this point, 'okay okay sweet girl I'll get hope for you' I agreed, I quickly made my way over to hopes room and carefully shook her awake.
'n-Nat what's going on,' Hope said groggily. 'I'm sorry baby but Mia is having a meltdown and she needs you,' as those words came out of my mouth he face dropped as she sprites out of bed with me running behind.
'Hey Mia it's me Hope,' she says as she climbs into bed with her. Mia abruptly stops crying and launches herself into Hope. 'I miss her hope I want her back, I want mama,' she says barely above a whisper, my heart just breaks. 'I know you do Mia, I wish she never left but we have to move on okay, all three of us, but think how lucky we are, we have nat and Wanda by our side all the time, they take such good care of us don't they,' Hope says to her. 'I know,' Mias eyes meet mine, 'I'm sorry for shouting out you natty I didn't mean it' she whimpers.
I make my way over to the two girls and sit between them, 'don't worry my sweet girl it's not your fault, you've been through so much and I understand you need your mommy, sometimes I wish mine was still here with me too,' I say back. 'You okay now Mia?' Hope asks.
'I want you to stay' Mia says as she tugs on Hope pj top. 'That's okay of course I will,' Hope replies sweetly.
Mia cuddles into Hope as I tuck them in and give them both a kiss.
'I love you girls to the moon and back,' I whisper
'I love you too mama,' I hear Mia whisper. I stand there in shock as a tear falls from my eye, she called me mama.
